Hi all. Went to bed with four happy girls, checked them this morning, one is in some very sad feels...

All were watered same time same amount this morning. Checked the pot it's soaking. However...

She is different from her sisters in only one way I can see. One root has pushed out of the fabric and grown instead of pruning, and there was a huge long knot of leaves half a foot long down into the reservoir. Would having constant roots in that water allow it to Overwater, or just suck up shitty water? I suppose if it's run off it could be sucking up a bunch of salts which could damage the root system?

In any case I've pulled the root out and left it sitting on the dry tray above the res, in preparation to cut it off if folks agree that's what I should do? Given its the only thing different about this lady I'm betting it's salts being sucked up into the roots from the res tray. Anyone got opposing theory?

And yes I know she looks thirsty. That's why I'm thinking it's salts being pulled up and stopping them getting a proper drink. Any help appreciated all!

Am I missing something here? Literally cannot add photos. Tried phone, tried laptop. Makes you wait while it tells you it's loading them, the pictures never show, you hit save and it just loads nothing. Am I doing something wrong?

my photos aren't pulling up on my thread either amigo, sure they are working on it! Love this place so just check back in awhile
Yeah me too I literally did mean 'right now' haha. I've never had issues so I'm sure they'll sort it. Best Forum on web by miles

Are you in coco or pro mix ?

Just looks like a bit of overwatered medium

Hey mate. Cool cool. Yeah she just doesn't look very perky. Tbh it could just be the overcrowding, some of the big fans need to come off to allow some air through which will help. Cheers for the reassurance though. I'm in 70/30 Coco perlite.

Yea she's just a stacked indica , little pruning , little stretch , she gonna straighten out for sure , probably wouldn't train her much more though 😜
Unless you want a bush monster

Her and her sister to the right are waiting their second topping like the girls at the back but I want them to finish node 4 before I cut them back to three just so they're not too stunted. They will end up like the girls at the back:

Looking good

To be fair this was 20 minutes before lights out too. She may just have been getting ready a little earlier than her sisters...

What are you feeding them ?
So they get Canna AB, silica, calmag, fulvic, rhizo. Into RO water. Was going by the grow stores chart which is half the quantity on the bottle - man you can basically halve that again. Literally anything more than quarter strength and I'm getting Ntox. Having said that in 1 gal fabric there's a lot of evap so quite a bit of water goes through, so with that evaporation the system will lend itself to delivering too much nutes anyway. So I'm finding with small regular fertigation you need to pull the nutes way back.

I never got any photos but I had a while generation of fan leaves that had tox, I flushed them straight that day with like twice pot volume of water, then gave them nothing but RO water for three days and they'd never looked better. They will be very thirsty for their first hit of nutes tonight but again only quarter strength. Will look to increase strength and lights over next week in prep for transition πŸ˜‹

@dire wolf was right. It was fine by lights on

These are from my outdoor girl. It's gonna rain all week which isn't the end of the world because they're in pots so I can move them but it's still humid and mould conditions. They're green crack which is heavily sativa so I don't want to push them too far in trichome ripening and lose that sharp high that the strain has. Reckon these might have just enough amber - any thoughts?
