Proper Poorman’s Grow

Reason I’m doing this is because my MH TS600 is done for and I can’t afford to buy a new unit at the minute lol

I’m using a box I built about 2 years ago which I used for seedlings.

W35cmxL35cmxHx75cm
1x 2cm 12v pc fan
1x 5cm 12v pc fan
1x 30w Blurple grow light
1x 10w LED 4500k Garden light
2x rechargeable usb battery packs
1x AAx5 battery pack
1x roll gaffa tape

Only got a small coir pot with some coco coir mix mixed with pea gravel

Bio bizz light mix, a bigger pot and some nutes, (biobizz indoor try pack or dry amendment’s) Is the only cost to come.

I have 2x seeds from autoseeds.com of their new strain Rainbow Glue.

1x seed went under wet paper towel and onto the beloved Router of germination loool on the 24th and had a 1cm long taproot after 32-33 hours.

Nice little box 😁 I’ll follow along I have a homemade (much more ghetto box) going now 😁 good luck let’s see what we can do!!

Good luck to you too bro, I’m still going to keep my little box even when I get the new setup. LST/HST box I think

Wife is on me to change from the box, wants me to chane my midnight shift room and build a new one in the basement and dedicate the full room to a grow but a 12’x12’ room seems a bit much lol. not sure if I need that much room for 6 plants so I’m gunna finish this first one out and see what I can yield. Im
Assuming you’re running an autoflower so it’ll be cool to see what a single plant can do.

I’m in the US. Full log construction home, Kids each have their own rooms, have 3 living rooms with 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths (2 living rooms with wood stoves) top notch trout/salmon stream in my backyard, basement has my bedroom /grow room and a 40x20 living room with one of the wood stoves (I use this 4th bedroom for when I work midnight shift I work swing shift at a chemical factory. Wife’s idea is to cut the basement living room into a living room/bedroom making 5 bedrooms total, once of witch (the 12x12 room in using now) would become the grow room as I’ve already set up the ventilation etc and easy access to the breaker box to add power. I also have a 60’x60’ 4 foot tall crawl space. If I can get god enough at LST and scrog I was wondering if I could effectively build a grow room in there it’s the height limitations I’m worried about but would be a fun idea I could do a MASSIVE scrog setup if I could train them in 6” tall Rubbermaid totes

We bought the house 6 months ago and have so many ideas lol I could go on for days lol

Here’s The stream in my backyard. And my 40x30 veggie garden I set up for once the damn weather gets a bit warmer lol, behind the tree line is where the steam is down a approx 30 foot drop off

Amazon didn’t deliver my biobizz light mix and can’t deliver until 2moro. I missed a couple of days on the thread but not much change
Temp is 24c
Humidity is 44

Watching as my first auto seeds just sprouted in their paper towel.
When do you plan to upgrade pot size ? Many say autos should start in their forever pot ?
I am trying to figure this out today !

I usually always start in final pot. But I recently lost my job, my ts600 went bust, tent buggered, moved house, caught flu 19 and Amazon messing me around with biobizz light mix delivery so not really going my way lol

Did you make a big grow room? If I had that much space I think I would do a 6x6. Enough for your 6 plants plus some breathing room

Ended up using the old tent for a single plant with 2x KingLED 1500’s currently, and 5 plants in a 4x8 tent fits an FC-E8000 modified light grow logs are posted. But here’s the 2 tents, 1 homemade 3.5x4.5 tent and a AC infinity 4x8

I’m currently converting an unused cupboard for my grow room, it’s taken a lot of figuring out to provide a small lung room for it tho which was a pain in the backside! I’ve got a SE3000 coming from spiderfarmer which will boost my lights big time.

Nice! Always use unused space, like the homemade tent I was taking about 3 layers of black 3 mil contractor bags, but she’s finally lightproofed haha. Can’t see them in this pic but I have metal heat registers for a home as inlet vents in the bottom and the inside has a light diffuser over the vents cus my lights run 4am to 4 pm. Window is blacked out behind the blind, the room is pitch black unless my tv is running lol

Don’t mind the mess it’s my computer/midnight shift bedroom 😂😂

70% through the cupboard project as I didn’t realise the cost of ply in the UK!
Bagged myself a win from SpiderFarmer….. a SE3000
My seed collection is stacking up big time lol Managed to win 3 competitions on the trot 😁
Just need to grab some medium (decide what one lol) and either some nutes or go down the diy route
