I'm soooo friggin lucky to have just happened upon this seed in a quarter bag.

I wish I had the time/energy/skill/additional genetics needed to breed this into something even more amazing. I bet the breeders here could do some amazing things with this one.

The bud in the pics is a single kola plant grown in my super cheap (mostly) organic soil mix, and put under a 600wHPS on 12/12 about 3 days after the clones rooted. My last few of these ladies ranged from about 18 - 29 grams - some of them grow like extra "heads" of buds in like a crown shape around the main tip...crazy.

I am by *no* means an ultra-sophisticated, expert grower - in fact, I'm pretty lazy and irresponsible - and look at the results she still gives.

Man, I would love to smoke some (or even see some) Alien Kush, OG Kush, Casey Jones, or The White x This stuff. Pre-98 bubba might be pretty cool too. I'm doubtful that the genetics on my plant are stable, but I bet you'd get a few keepers out of a cross with any of those.

I can't wait to smoke some of the herb off of that bud in the pic, though...I've been watering at the mouth for the past few weeks.

It's friggin amazing...as long as I keep the RH around 40%, the smell doesn't come out much at all until dry/cure. I left the windows open a few days this winter when it was really cold out, and the humidity spiked and it REEKED for 12 hours or so until I managed to dehumidify the air without freezing the AC coils (a difficult thing to do with moist air and an outside temp below freezing). For what little smell does linger around my place, I use a completely ghetto carbon furnace filter wrapped around a piece of chicken wire (in keeping with my laziness)...it knocks the stink out for about 2 weeks:


This stuff smokes really well, and my lazy ass isn't really too interested in breeding anyway :) I was very worried about hermies, but as of yet, there haven't been any bananas to be seen...

What you more motivated folks here breed is plenty fine for me! I can't wait until I can get my hands on some Alien anything....

I finally got 2 phenos of BuKu I liked, ended up keeping one of them. Really nice taste, but man, that Shoreline taste just brings back so many memories lol.
