Looking for thoughts on my plants.

They are 8 week old autoflowers (ice cream cake 1:1) and smell amazing. I think I have 1-2 weeks left until harvest (one of my plants looks further along).

I seem to have a huge amount of sugar leaves. Some pictures attached. I don't expect to be getting huge, fat buds based on what I am seeing. Do you think this (sugar leaf amount) is more genetic or related to grow? The plants generally get 6-7 hours of direct sunlight. I think I was using adequate nute amounts.

Thanks!

Those plants are many weeks away from harvest. I'd guess at least 4.

Yes, those are very leafy buds. It is probably genetic. Choose a different breeder next time.

Cheers. The 4 week timeline blows past the breeder suggestion by 2 - 3 weeks but that doesn't surprise me. Would also be welcome based on my vacation in less than 3 weeks time.

get minimum 5-6 hours on them during peak sunlight hours. progressively later weeks + intense sunlight forces the girls to coat themselves in sugar
