it was transplanted two weeks ago. the nodes were very close to eachother from the start. i did just turn my light to full power at about 3 ft from canopy. and i water till slight runoff and wait till couple inches down from top soil is dry. temp stays at 67-70 during 6 hour off period. and 75-80 while lights on. humidity stays from 50-70. also there is two separate plants. first photo is one plant. second and third photo are second plant
humidity is 50-60* not 70
i also had a soil ph problem from the start. just 5 days ago got the soil ph inbetween 6 - 6.5
Shedded leaves are a sign of calmag deficiency. White widows tend to spread out more if you defoliate. I grown this same pheno or similar and she was a pain.
If you want her to stretch out more to give more spacing between the nodes add red led lights to your vegging girls. I bought 4 -4ft cheap led lights off Amzon thinking it may help my lower buds in flower....that was a wash but I added them into my veg room and within 1 week I noticed a jump in my vegging girls...I veg under t5 blue & full spectrum keeping them short and bushy the added red stretches them noticeably.
As of right now I can't spend any more money to upgrade or add equipment. The ionboard does have some red lights. I had the lights at 100 percent. And turned them down to 80 percent yesterday. And have it about 3 ft away from canopy. I also defoliated more
Another fan never hurts, (alright ...almost never). Now, as long as your temp at canopy level is good, you can use a fan to cool your ballast, like you have it, but the light is designed to run without that fan cooling it. You mentioned "airflow throughout the tent", so I'll take it you have an exaust fan and are pulling in fresh air. In general in a tent, you want to pull your fresh and cool air in from the bottom of the tent and set your exaust fan and carbon air scrubber in the top of the tent to exaust out the hotest air. During winter, when I need more heat in my tent, I place a fan on my light just like you've discribed, to push that heat down to the canopy and slow down my exaust fan, but during the summer I set my fans on the floor of the tent pointing upwards to push the cooler air up and speed up my exaust. All that said, summer or winter, I keep fans blowing at and through the canopy 24/7. To keep that air moving over and through the entire plant you will want the fan AND to defoliate from time to time to keep good air flow.
