Looking for various opinions, but perhaps these photos can't really provide such great data. These two strains share a tent and need to be harvested at the same time. Based on what we can see the trichomes looking look in these not so great photos could one make an educated guess as to when to put them to sleep? I'd like to see at least a little amber in each, but read that the trichome color isn't necessarily the best indicator as to when to harvest.

I've also attached a bud photo of each strain.

I should be able to provide more strain info, but I cannot.

The amber trichs I'm seeing are on leaves. The only ones that count are on the flower bracts.

That said, look at the second and third pic from the bottom. See all the white stigmas? Those white stigmas need to turn reddish brown before you spend time checking trich colors. In the third pic down, you can see a red stigma on the lower left.

My way of determining ripeness:

1. Wait for all stigmas to turn white.
2. Wait another week.
3. Check trichs with a magnifier.

Thank you.. those were my thoughts, just nice to have someone more experienced to lean on in these last couple few weeks.
