How to overpack a 2x2 200 watts
2x2
200watts
Organic soil

In that small room, I wouldn't use a tent. It looks like it would be a nice grow space.
Was pondering the idea myself actually , great idea man . I was always planning on one plant at a time but that quickly changed!! I’m sure within the month I will remove the tent and mount the lights to the ceiling , that was also a factor but would be simple ! Thanks 🙏

Now I’m trying to brainstorm all of the things that could come up if I do that tonight it would be an easy remove of the tent but I use the top vent for the ac infinity , that should be fine just sitting on the floor running reverse , the lights can hang from a closet rod , the plant will have more room … not seeing any negatives here ! Might be the move .. temps might even drop I am averaging 78-83 degrees now and would like to lower that maybe removing the tent would also allow the heat of the 200watt lights to dissipate more efficiently!! I’m liking this, can anyone think of negatives to this ? Thanks 🙏

Only negative is that I have the wife loving the idea that I’m using a tiny little tent and it’s hidden , she looks in and sees the full room operation I’m gonna have some explaining to do !! 🤣🤣 right now it could be zipped and clothes hung in front !! it can disappear for company , howwwwvwerrr who looks in someone’s closet !! 😝😝😝

A tent is protection from moisture damage. It's also an extra layer of protection from light leaks. There are about as many reasons to keep the tent as there are to eliminate it. @Happyreefing You'll have to decide what works best for you.
I didn't even think about light leaks good call
If you you need more space I personally wood get another or bigger tent. Your set up looks good.

Growing with limited space is difficult at first, but once you dial it in it’s definitely possible to get good results! I’ve been using a 2x2x4 tent in my closet for the last few grows and it gets better every time.

Your space is looking good man! I would be torn between the closet and the tent myself. Maybe you could hang some green board and paint it all white. Then line the door with weather stripping? That could help with moisture and light leaks. Venting exhaust is always a problem though. I have the same issue. Not sure I want to go cutting holes in my house to support a 2x2 grow.

If it were me, I’d try to stay in the tent, just to keep a contained environment. Your lights may penetrate more thoroughly in the 2x2 as well, since you technically have a larger footprint to cover once removed from the tent…but it’s also hard to argue with more space

Thanks all for the kind words ! now only thing I’m finding is that the temps are a little high like 81 degrees with 45% rh steady , I added like 8 bottles with sugar water and active yeast to supplement some kinda c02 for the high temp just as a precaution, not sure that’s doing much as I can’t test levels but also I’m thinking 81 isn’t sooo bad as I have some plants in early veg and others flowering maybe it’s a happy mix of not to hot or am I gonna have issues with heat at that temp ?

80-82 should be perfect for LED. 45% rh is great for flower and most likely just fine for veg. If I had to choose between constant high rh or constant low rh, I’d choose low.

Another thought about the space is you could split your flowering and vegging plants between the closet and tent. If you’re running photos you’ll need different light schedules. So you could run the flowering plants in the tent and the vegging plants in the closet or vice versa.

Just maybe turn the lights off in the closet when it’s dark and leave the lights on in the tent so you can find all the tent light leaks and fix them and boom, you could have two small grow spaces.

There are 4 autos and one photo my intent is to run the photo thru the end of the autos and then start flowering should be around 80 day veg she’s gonna be big !! Haha 😂 it’s the godfather og that is the photo , the remaining 4 all autos . Was my first auto run and I think there cool so far but much more flexible with the photos so I’ll be going back to that after the autos finish up , maybe throw an auto in here and there between or in another tent . The future is bright ! Literally ✌️🤣

Well, you might reconsider an 80 day veg on the Godfather OG. It seems you're aware it will be pretty big by then. If you decide to run the whole 80, you'll need to top it to keep it in its space. You may also have to prune back some lateral branches. This would be an opportune time to take cuttings if you're interested in starting some clones.

Transplanted all 3 small girls yesterday , cleaned up the floor also,
the space currently is
3x4x6 with 200watts led, 24watts 75% true uvb agro max , temps 74-78 Fahrenheit RH 45-50% organic soil consists of
(homemade compost,castings,peat,perlite)
Gaia green all purpose 4-4-4
Gaia green bloom 2-8-4
Roots organic seabird guano 0-12-0
Raw silica
Azomite
Also-
Kelp extract and
Random compost teas every few waterings
H20- rain water or snow melted collected
No PH no testing
Other than initial test of rain and snow ph 6.3 , ppm 25 .
Watering every day when they need no particular schedule.
So far so good 😊
