Hi everyone!

I got one of these butter-infusion makers that have a deposit where you can place your weed for creating an infusion.
Unfortunately, the instructions are nowhere to be found.
But I got the basic gist of it.

Got a butter maker do i need to decarb first

My question is, should I decarb the weed first before putting in the machine herb-deposit?

Will the heat created by the infusion machine be enough to decarb the weed?

Or should I do it before?

Thanks.

YES.
Decarb at 240f for 45 minutes or so.
You should not be cooking the butter much over 200f as I understand.
Thanks!
Next question: I have two ovens. A larger gas oven where bigger cookings are prepared; and a smaller electric grill oven.

I'm guessing I should use the bigger one?
The smaller electric oven does have grills closer to the food, and I'm afraid it will cook the weed in no time...

I would use which ever one is more accurate.

The smell

Decarboxylation can be unbelievably smelly, especially if the marijuana is uncovered on a baking tray in the oven just so you know.
Some use jars to contain aroma.
