I'm currently flowering my first photo, today's the 9th day, yet still no signs of flower. Is this normal? Or is there any tricks to get them to flip faster? Please and thank you... lol

How old are the plants?

Photo plants won't flower until they're mature enough, no matter what you do with the lighting regime. But even when they've show preflowers, it could take two weeks, or even more sometimes, before you see much besides stretching plants.

I always veg till mature and usually see flowers starting in 10/14 days - when I grew buy the node and fast it seems like it took longer to set and didn’t end up as potent ? Mayb I’m wrong but that my experience

around day 10 I can usually see them starting to form....1 day nothing the next little buds...
Oh ok, nice. Tomorrow's her day 10. I think I see maybe 2-3 pistils here n there, but they haven't really even moved for couple days at least. I was just hoping it wasn't something wrong. Until now I've only been growing auto's, so this is my first flipping a photo.

The amount of time one veggies their plants plays a big role in bud production. Little no veg 12/12 plants can take longer than 50-day vegged plants to show flowers. IF they're small give them some extra time.

It depend a lot on the strain, i have seen some start to show pistil as soon as the next day from 12/12 flip and some others start to show first preflowers 3 weeks after 12/12 flip but for most strain usually within 10 to 15 days after 12/12 flip your set

There is always a period of “stretch“ with photos after you flip the lights. As Herbaled mentioned the length of time is dependent on strain, some sativas will stretch for up to 15-20 days. they will gain about 10-20% plan mass during this period and will need extra N, as soon as you see pistils (which will be very soon! less than a week) you will need to change feeding to P&K heavy nutrients.

looking just fine be patient with the plants

I flipped these on Jan 14 and the pistils are still very short, they took at least until Jan 28 to start showing.

She's 93 days old. She's pretty mature id think. Left her in a 3 gallon for too long. Transplanted into 5 gallon before switching to 12/12

Everyone check again in the dark period that you don't have any light penetration. This can mess up your plants and they may never start blooming.

For some of my girls, pistils show in about 5 days after flipping to 12/12, but others take closer to 2 weeks—strain really makes a difference. I’ve been tracking flowering progress with daily photos, then loading them into my nixplay digital frame so I can easily see changes without digging through my phone. It actually helps spot stretch early and keep notes on trichome development later on.
