Hey!

New to growing out lots of hours into research and I know a little bit, but now it’s time to practise and try my hand at this and learn along the way. I think I may have overwatered by accident what do you lot think? Should I throw it or keep it going?

Will really appreciate any help here.

Autoflower or photoperiod
Whats your soil consist of

Rather not give up on her, this wont be your last struggling seedling either. You should be able to grow her into something to harvest. What are you feeding or only water upto now?

Thanks for the reply!

Growing her in coco coir and a little perlite she’s an autoflower gave a very small feed a few days ago and will increase in time

Coco generally doesn’t have any nutrients at all. Careful with the additives. It’s generally wise to start the seed in potting soil then transplant to your larger pot once it’s 3-4 inches tall.

Thanks appreciate it. So do you think it’s something that I’ve done or is it dodgy seed?

Most likely you. Don’t be to quick to start over. It doesn’t look bad.

Different leaf issues occur for different reasons. Most aren’t genetic related.

More who grow in your medium will be along to help soon. Day is just starting here. 👍

If you are new to growing I would suggest using soil. It is way easier to get to grips with for the 1st couple of grows. Hope you get it sorted. Peace ✌️

You are doing fine, the plant will recover this young. You should be using nutrients every time you water in coco. I grow seedlings all the time in coco with great success. At first I will water every other day until roots establish and then it’s every day. When I water I make sure to completely soak and get runoff.

Threadjack.....

To be clear, are you saying start seedling in potting soil then move to coco media or transplant into potting soil?

I read somewhere that moving a root system that originally grew in soil to a different media is not recommended and can kill the plant. Something about the way the exudants are handled or something like that, don't remember.

I'm not sure if it's different with large amounts, but I can tell you I start all my seeds in a shot glass with drain holes full of potting mix.
Then once I see good amount of roots around the shot glass transplant them into coco with no issues.

I only do this as I wasn't having great success rate putting seed directly into coco, but in the potting mix I do.

I’d google first but recall the same. Anything to soil, but not soil to anything.
