So I just discovered I have some light leaks in my grow shed. I have two plants which should be done but I still have like 50% clear trichomes and maybe 10% amber. Would light leaks cause this?

what are you basing should be done off? if it's breeder times those are usually a couple weeks less than what you're going to run into from my experience.

ive never heard of a trich going from milky back to clear though

Well the plants look done. They are cannibalizing themselves. I don’t have the exact days but they have been in flower a good two months at least.

I don't think light leaks will cause this. Are the other 40% cloudy?
Most strains will run for 9 - 12 weeks on average some more and not many less that 9 from flip.
You say they look ready as they are cannibalising themselves, bit how do the pistols looks? Is there many white ones?

No they look done

Pics woud really help of plants and even trics if possible. But to answer your question no I don't believe light leaks will cause that.
There will pretty much always be some clear trics especially if any sort of fox tailing is happening or some bud expanders are being used.
Some plants are weird my last run I had a Slurricane that had 0 white hairs all brown and receded looked done after 6 weeks, but all trics where clear and didn't start going cloudy and amber untill 9 weeks.

I am running blurple lights so pics suck. I tried pics without them on and it was too dark. Trich picts are as close as I could get. I think I have a cal/mag issue. Living soil but something went wrong a couple weeks ago, so the plants look like shit. Maybe that is the clear trick problem.
