hi, was wondering what age can I take clones from my plants and if so what’s best way to do it just snip a stem off and try put it in rooting gel , mite be wrong all help be appreciated

It's more the size of the plant that's important. You can take clones at any age, as long as you can snip off 4-6" of a branch.
There's now kits being sold for micro-cloning/tissue culture which means you can clone from a much smaller cutting. I have looked at them but I don't have one yet and might never decide to go that route. Using my aero-cloner and the 4"- 6" cuttings method is almost fool-proof.
