Hello, I’m growing Feminized Diesel from seed and it’s been 73 days since the flip to 12/12. I have reduced the days gradually over the last 2weeks to 10.5/13.5….and slightly reduced light intensity and temps, which are 73-74-day & 62-64-night.
Growing in coco amended with dry organics under a HLG 320xl r-spec LED.
Anyway, I hate when this happens…..the trichs are almost perfect IMO…..majority are cloudy just look like melted candy they’re so sticky. There are a still some clears, but I believe there will always be clears, and about 10% amber on the calyces.
There are a couple very tiny patches at the tips of a couple of the largest colas where the trichs appear to have degraded…..I just know they look fried and dried, but these are tiny spots and only a couple of them.
I’ve generally been a grower that patiently waits until all white pistils have turned and receded…..however long it may take. This has resulted, again my opinion, in buds that lost a fair amount of their aroma and stickiness.
It may be my imagination but I think I notice a slight decrease in the strong odor that this strain gives off. I like that odor, which is why I chose the strain.
Anyway, I can see these buds still foxtailing and spitting out white pistils a month from now.
What do you think ?
I would like to wait until next Tuesday b/c of schedule and convenience. But if my buds are losing appeal by the day I’ll chop tomorrow.
Anyone’s comments are appreciated and I’d like to hear them.
Thanks
