In spain is aparcar, but it also comes from parking, we use parking as a noun to refeer to the spot and aparcar as the verb. Many words might be different or even unique to some south american countries, but most of us understand it anyway, things like "wey" (mexican) "po" "pelao" (chile) "che" "posta" (argentina) and many more. But even if you dont know the meaning of 1 word you usually understand anyway because of the context. We have many words adapted to spanish in different ways depending on the country from english 😁 its called anglicismo in spanish, there's also catalanismos and castellanismos which is catalan words adapted to spanish and viceversa.
 
They look awesome! I see some leaves with probably deficiency in the first pic? But it seems like it was in the late stage and didnt affect much the buds, they look great! 100W 100 dollars each??! Damn thats cheap! Nice one! Do you know the color temperature of those lights? Im thinking maybe 4000k? or is it 6000-6500K? For a spectrum with not much red light seems like they went well.

A couple weeks ago I had other side situation when a powerful LED transferred from a huge box to the small one. I thought that LED isn’t necessary use with a protective glass, but i was wrong. Five days under strong flow of the photons young strain has been mutated…(

Lights never used to be so expensive till leds hit the market hps/haildes were a lot cheaper. Glad you found a option that works for you always good to see another grower join the long line of us making what we got work 🙂

No the lights were 50 each 100 total. But yea that pic was right before the chop. I flushed a little early but it didn’t hurt much. I’m not 100% sure but I think I posted all the info on the lights in my bubba cheesecake diary probably the first page.
I found it, its full spectrum so it has cool white (5000k), warm white (3000k), red and infrared. It doesnt have UV, but we were just talking about how its unclear how UV really affects the plant. Apparently, according to a new study that a user posted, it only makes more trichomes on the leaves so if you wanna make hash with the frosty leaves you might wanna get a UV, it might also depend on the strain, we need more studies.
 
Lights never used to be so expensive till leds hit the market hps/haildes were a lot cheaper. Glad you found a option that works for you always good to see another grower join the long line of us making what we got work 🙂

Agreed, but HPS and CFL give a very poor light spectrum compared to LED, specially when it comes to green light which is the light that penetrates the leaves the most. HPS and CFL are high blue and high red depending on the color temperature, but they lack green and its not as balanced, not to mention the energy efficiency. Theyre going cheaper and cheaper, I wanan get a LED panel but for now I have 2 LED (75W each) bulbs which were around 60 euros each, and 9 sticks (around 50W total) that costed me 40 euros on the sides.

Definitely. I feel like that is harder than growing it lol I’ll get there one day. I actually dried my last grow 2 different ways and havnt broke out the second type yet. So maybe I already figured it out lol I’ll keep ya posted.

good to know I’ll keep that in mind and may do a test or two down the line.

I'll believe a light is full spectrum when they change the tint on my eyeglasses. None have done it yet.

UV Radiation and PSM​

Different wavelength ranges in UV radiation result in varying cannabinoid accumulation (Lydon et al., 1987; Magagnini et al., 2018). It has been nearly four decades since the first study suggesting that UV-B (280–315 nm) radiation affects cannabinoid accumulation in cannabis plants (Lydon et al., 1987). UV-B radiation did not impact cannabinoid content in both drug- and fiber-type cannabis plants, with the exception of Δ9-THC in bud tissues of drug-type cannabis plants. When the daily dosage of UV-B radiation increased from 0 to 13.4 kJ m−2, the Δ9-THC content increased from 25 to 32% (Lydon et al., 1987), suggesting that Δ9-THC was a UV-B photo-protectant (Pate, 1994). It was further noted that UV-B radiation increases trichome numbers. Altitude may be equally important. Increased solar UV radiation results in higher CBDA, terpene, and cannaflavin content in the hemp variety “Kompolti” (Giupponi et al., 2020). Notably, UV radiation sources used in both studies had relatively broad spectra, compared to electrical UV radiation sources, such UV-discharge lamps and light-emitting diodes (LEDs). It is unknown if there is was an interactive effect between UV-A (315–380 nm) and UV-B radiation, as a high percentage of UV-A radiation was present in both the UV-B and control light treatments (Mirecki and Teramura, 1984; Lydon et al., 1987; Giupponi et al., 2020). A subsequent study examined the impact of UV-A radiation on cannabinoid accumulation, and reported increased cannabinoid levels other than Δ9-THC (Magagnini et al., 2018). Low percentages of UV-A radiation (2%) from full-spectrum LED arrays induced an increase of several cannabinoids, including CBD, CBG, Δ9-THC, and tetrahydrocannabivarin (THCV), compared to a high pressure sodium (HPS) lamp that contained 1% of UV-A radiation (Magagnini et al., 2018). Clearly, more studies are required to clarify the impact of UV radiation on cannabis PSM accumulation.

Im not following, is that a joke? I have a hard time catching those.
My prescription eye wear tints when I go out in the sun, but not in my tents, meaning full spectrum as in duplicating sun light. Also my glasses don't tint inside the tinted glass in my car, I reckon auto glass is polarized. The properties of light are interesting to me and simple to others.

Maybe the polarization interacts moreso with UV.

Full spectrum doesnt mean that it contains the same intensity of colors inside the spectrum in the same proportions and some manufacturers dont include UV and IR as full spectrum (and they should, it shouldnt be called full spectrum without those 2). I dont think any LED can replicate sunlight, but they can give a full spectrum meaning: UV-Blue-Green-Red-IR, example of a LED with TRUE full spectrum:

Of course not all true full spectrum LEDs have the same proportions either, some might go for more blue to ensure growth while others might focus on a more balanced or more red spectrum.

I think its never bad to add more life to your substrate, which is what the 2 first products do. Your fertilizers dont have beneficial microorganisms for the soil, but your soil might have them by default, which soil are you using?
 
Update on the 2 26W LED bars cardboard indoor. Seems like the 3 ones in the back are flowering nicely so far. I have the extraction fan and the carbon filter finally coming tomorrow, it gets a bit hot sometimes even if its only 2 26W LED bars, I have to open it a bit for it to cool down.
