Hello Farm, welcome to my ongoing diary/planning of my first grow in years.. a few basics..I'm from the older days (not overgrow old though) 😉 Always been a coco coir guy..never even used soil,..always have topped early and only vegged for like 3 weeks, then into 12/12...I go from solo cups to 1-2 gallon of coco.

This current grow is Seedsman : 6x The white OG 3x White Widow 6 x Badazz OG Cheese

They are currently under a 110w PLL T5 2 bulb fixture...they're basically 4ft T5 bulbs "bent" into 2ft...so they produce the same lights like a 4 foot T5 HO..
They were started in cheap Eco-Earth coir from the petstore...in beer solo cups..no perlite..the coco was flushed heavily with hot tap water,

3-23-23 (exactly a month ago today) I started all 10 White OG and 3 White Widow fem...I put in distilled water on top of my warm light, within hours they were submerged and some even cracking..nice,viable healthy seeds.

Four days later,7/10 White OG broke surface, all 3 White Widow broke surface,so I started it as day one 3-27-23
Sadly a few seeds might have rotted/overwatered in the coir, and just never sprouted..and I put 2 seeds in one cup ( DRUNK) ...which was later removed and is a runt but is still growing nice and healthy.

I then started 5 Cheese seeds...eventually they sprouted, so theyr roughly a week behind, some more than others.. all in all I stayed with 6x Badazz OG Cheese

These are the 6x White OG toughly 2 weeks later (DAY 13) :

Here are the 3 White Widows (2 weeks old) :

Here are the BadAZZ OG Cheese roughly 10 days old...give or take, you'll see some are small seedlings, while others are already getting established :

The feed for the first two weeks for all seedlings is 2 grams of MegaCrop,I did buy an aloe leaf at the store, used the gel blended with water and foliar fed and root drenched...I also bought a coconut and used the water inside.
They are packed with all kinds of different beneficial additives..auxins (root growth, aloe vera)... Cytokinins ( the coconut water, helps upper growth, stems, shoots, etc) They also have all kinds of amino acids, trace minerals, other hormones, the aloe has Salicylic acid, which helps improve stress tolerance and overall health.. etc... I am a firm believer in using certain growth supplements to accelerate growth and roots, especially with young plants.. foliar feeding every day.

I am also using Megacrop Sea-Kelp as a general foliar feed..although the ocean smell isn't my ideal perfume 😂 this particular kelp formula is high in root promoting hormones...so its very good for seedlings and young clones..it IS however high in potassium, and me, being coco coir..I use it sparingly..

Thank you all who joins and all tips and questions are very welcome, I AM rusty, like the title says, but you know what they say about bikes..😉😉

I have always preferred to top early, when the side shoots are already growing. On day 16 for the White Og's and The White Widows..and the Cheese plants were already catching up, so they also go topped, two of the Cheese were mutants, so they basically topped themselves.

White OGs :

You can see the duct tape..I like to tape the big water leaves to the sides of the cup, to further help the new shoots establish themselves, while not cutting them. They are still beneficial for the plants.

So far, the White OG seem more sativa, stretchy dominant. The White Widows are all very uniform, short, branchy and stocky..they seem indica dom..The Cheese caught up quickly, some mutations here and there, one in particular is standing out in terms of vigor and overall health.

Here they are after a MegaCrop Sea-K foliar feed on day 27 :

I bought aloe vera and coconut juice at the store,to use as a foliar..the coconut water is very high in cytokines.

Here they are on day 28,a little less for the Cheese..I started them days after the White OG and White Widow

Here are the White OG's..they're defnitely more lanky, more node spacing..overall what I would consider an og kysh type cultivar to be..

20230428 142606
20230428 142617

As you can see, I've been having this weird deficiency. It popped on a single branch on one of my Cheese plants. To my best knowledge it seems iron deficiency. Which is weird considering I'm using tap water..(350ppm tap water)...unless it's being locked out by something..very weird..
