im doing a first time grow and so far everything is working super well for me. Im now switched into my flower stage, All great no signs of stress or disease. however, I can’t get my humidity below 60. Normally sitting around 65% . I have wall fans inside the tent circulating air, I tried using a vevor exhaust fan which was powerful enough to suck my tent walls in but it wouldn’t lower humidity. I have dehumidifier going inside the tent and it’s clearly pulling water because I have to dump it but it’s not really dropping humidity either. I’m on a low budget and kinda maxed out what I had already for this. I live in Texas it is swamp weather here humidity levels over 70% in the house and over 80% outside. Any advice? Please help me I have some huge plants I don’t want to lose them :/

It sounds like you're at about the lowest humidity you'll be able to get this summer. Do you have any untopped plants? You might consider doing some topping to reduce the size of buds. Bud size seems to be a contributing factor for bud rot -- smaller ones are less likely to get it.

An air conditioner like a window unit not only cools but dehumidifies as well. If you could run one sometimes in the room then it would help a lot.

I’ve already topped all the plants unfortunately.
The lowest I can get them to sit is 62% thinking about hanging some of those dehumidifier packs and hanging them around vent holes do you think that would help?

I can’t install a window unit I live in an apartment:/ but I could bring in a portable ac unit if you think that’d do the trick?

yes an A.C. will help.
what temps you growing with and can you post pictures of your grow

Yes keep in mind I had no idea what I was doing for the longest time I have some tallllll lanky plants I’ve done my best to train them but 🤷🏽‍♂️. I also have one tiny plant I’m letting flower as well. It’s an ugly setup and cheap all around but it’s mine and I’m proud🤣 I’ve currently got the humidity to drop to 57 which is the lowest I’ve ever seen it. 71 is the temp of my house 72 is the temp in the tent. High will be around 74 low is 70. There’s a pro breeze dehumidifier in the middle of my tent and those bowls with powder are baking soda (attempting to dehumidify) light is a kingled 1000w exhaust fan is a vevor 4 inch. Tent is a coolgrow tent. I’m using a budget setup for sure but my plants seem to be happy.

It would 100% work I have one. If you really want to go all out, then insulate the hose going to the window and it Increases the efficiency a TON. It will help your power bill, there are videos on how to do it. Super easy, good luck 🤞
