Hello everyone, im a neebie and im doin my first grow in a marshydro 2x4 tent. I have 5 four inch pots and im using Coast Of Maine seed starting soil. My light is about 20 inches away from seedlings which are 20 days old today. All im doing is watering. In the pictures seedlings doing have that green color, some pots do have roots coming out the bottom which is a good sign. Any suggestions?

Get rid of the dome and provide air circulation for a start. To be honest, you're in a no win situation as far as any significant yield.

Raise the light to 35 inches and make sure humidity is between 65 y
To 70

As suggested, i would remove the dome. Not necessary when you see green imo. That coast of maine has little to no nutrients, they will be hungry here in a week or so. I would have pots ready with either a preamended soil or have some liquid fertilizer ready.

5 plants is gonna be pushing it for a 2x4 tent, maybe your light as well. What size pots are you gonna transplant into?

I think you're over-lit, over-watered, and under-fed. If those were mine, I'd move the light to the top of the tent and dim it to 10%. If the plants pray a day later, turn it up in 5% increments until they flatten out. Water to saturation only when the pots are very light. Feed every fourth watering.

Hiya be28ans!!!

Seedlings are usually pretty straight forward and don’t require much till at least the first few set of nodes develop. Water, light, air.
As others have suggested, remove the dome and use a fan to circulate air. Then move the lights to around 2ft above. Finally, I would start with a super duper light feed, once a week, that’s properly Ph’d for your medium. It will take a week or so for those babies to turn around.
They’ve got a loooong time to grow out of their funk and a nice yield can still be done!!!

Here’s a comparison pic of 21 day old beans below…getting ready for first nute-feed…I’ve watered 3 times in 21 days

Spraying is mostly for clones with no root system when they are young.
When you start from seed, there is not a developed leaf that can properly take in nutrients.
Good luck!

Goodmorning, so i took dome off yesterday, i need to go buy a fan for inside tent until then i used a big fan thats blowing from the outside of tent into tent vent on the bottom. I put a tiny bit of nutrients (a spring water bottle cap full) and i watered them this morning not spray. Also i moved light to 2ft. Thanks again will see what happens
