Hi Growers,
I'm building a DIY Lamp and I have a set of 3x 32W LEDs, and they need cooling. What do you guys think, how much surface Area or what type of Cooling Solutions do you recommend. I want to have the cooling a passive as possible, because I want to have it quiet!
My first thought was having one of each of those LED Cooler/radiators (first pic).
They are recommended till 100W of Power, but then you should throw on a fan. Do you think that one of that without a fan would be enough for one LED?
Weight: 195 g
Size: 92 x 92 x 25 mm
thermal conductivity: 226 W/W/mK
My second “solution” would be ONE of the big Radiator. I would throw the three LEDs on there somehow and hope.
Size: 100x100x30mm
Thickness: 5mm
Thickness of one Slat: 0,7 mm
Weight: 300g ±30g
Surface area: 1.932,9 cm² (Could be wrong, I calculated that)
So what do you guys think? Would either of these “Solutions” work, or do you have other recommendations?
Thanks for any help
