I scored a bag of Sour Power a few years ago and saved the 3 seeds I found in an ounce (this was before I was growing). I knew if there was a chance of getting something similar it might be worth it. I just finished the bud I harvested from one of the seeds and figured I’d share my experience.

I’m always looking for diesel, skunky, cat pissy strains. They are my favorite, but in a world full of Strawberry cupcakes and vanilla frosted cheesecake it’s getting harder and harder to find the good rank stuff. Although the sour power wasn’t quite as rank as catpiss, it had that fantastic ECSD going on. Fuel, little citrus, lots of dankness. I grew one seed on my first grow and tossed it because I thought maybe it was a male, but now know it was way too early to tell. But I am assuming it was a self produced seed. So last grow I popped the last seed and made it to harvest very successfully with organic nutrients in soil. The buds I ended up with were almost identical to the original. Maybe more potent though. They were close enough to where I think it was the same based on my memory as well as the qualities of the bud. Looks, smells, flavor, so saturated in stickyness it’s impossible to break up and will cease my grinder.

So onto now…
I ended up with 5 seeds from that sour power harvest, and now I am growing one out to see if it’s the same as the bud it came from again. I’m excited because I also have a Blue Magoo seed going that’s clone only as well. I wonder if this is the trick to get those clone only strains…or at least so close that you can’t tell without a side by side.

On this coming grow I’ll be growing a seed from the above pictured bud, a bag seed Blue Magoo, and 2 Humboldt Seed Company strains. Seeds are germinating in soil now, then I’ll start a thread.
