Not sure how to light the area since most lights are for 2x2 or 2x4. Budget is $200-$300ish. Cheaper the better. Lights would be used for veg and flower. I prefer not having the lights too close and a more even light footprint. Can anyone chime in?

Options:
A) 2x Viparspectra XS 1500

B) 1x Viparspectra XS 1500 + 1x HLG 100 rspec

C) 2x HLG 100 rspec

D) 1x HLG 200 Rspec

Tent: AC Infinity 2'x3'x6'
6sq ft.

2-3 plants in 3gal soil

Hey GreenDumb are you buying lights to fit a tent that you already have? Or buying everything new?
Because I've got 1 x viparsectra xs1500 pro in a vivosun 32'' x 32'' tent (or 80cm x 80cm). So I've pushed the tent size out but I can't fault that light in that tent. 32 x 32'' is a bigger floor space than 36 x 24''.

This run I went back to a 300W blurple and 2 T5 2’ flouro tubes just to convince myself how bad it was. It’s not actually seeming any worse than a Mars TS-3000 450W.
We’ll see how it finishes. I’m out of room vertically, unless I move the ex fan outside. Good luck. I’d say buy what you can afford. They’ll grow.

you know that Infinity sells complete tents and the light they have are very good -- fell infinity has the best tents + equipment so one could use the PVD method of growing Like HLG better than Vipars (Go to DudeGrow and get a discount on HLG LIGHTS) have a full spectrum and a RedSpec (using the red spect you get flower sites early - within 3 weeks

I appreciate the input from everyone. Ended up getting 2 of the Viparspectra XS 1500 with the Samsung 301B LEDs. In my 2x3 tent I will probably never have to turn them past 75% power. I picked them over the HLG due to price and the slightly larger boards with LEDs concentrated on the edges and corners vs HLG having a uniform diode layout. I'm sure any of these options would perform well.

If you can get the lumatek attis it's 350 for the 300 watt led. Lumatek is top gear. (I run a Mars hydro led, t5's and a lumatek evsa

If you do 2x2 buy a marshydro ts1000 for the 2x4 you can do 2 ts600's but they have relatively low values per wat. I run one for veg but I wouldent use it for flowering because of the low mol/wat rating. If you have the space do 2.5×2.5 that's ideal for a 200watt led. Vipraspecter and others have great 200wat leds. If you do opt for the 2x4 go for the marsh hydro ts200 it's 300 watt.

I am not affiliated with mars hydro but they just give a good bang for your buck. Sadly they are jacking up their prices.
