#1 What size pot do you finish in?

#2 How many days between feed/water?

#3 Feeding schedule (example water water feed, water feed, feed feed, or custom)

There will be a lot of different answer on these questions. And a lot will depend on what type of media they are growing in. So if could add media type would help a lot.

I know new growers would love to hear these answers, and can give them a better idea of the different techniques out there.

Media type, promix
7 gallon pot
7-10 days between water/feed
Feed every watering.

Oh and feel free to drop some eye candy.
Couple questions for old and new growers

^^^ eye candy. 😎

I try to get mine in 5 gallon pots. I've grown in 3 gallon tho. Hahaha all kinds of wrong shit I've done. I usually use just water straight up. I've used happy frog and ocean forest for mixes and find the happy frog can take from seed to harvest but the ocean forest is lacking.

Coming this season I plan to change soils to a different living soil not sure how it's gonna do will defo give feedback and props if it's as good as it says it is. Also I plan to get the 5 gallon aeropots. So a lot will be changed on my next grow.

I have no pics rn. But trust when I got some they will be posted. 😆 🐉

Also I'm a newbie so probably not the best at offering advice but I can give honest reviews of products I've used.

LOS grower, so I only water, but I'm curious to see what other farmers say. I've been finishing in 5 gallon pots, but they have proven to be a little big for my 3x3. I plan to finish the Macdawg in 2 gal and see what happens

1 gallon per foot or growth . No bigger is needed as long as you water when its required . Most plants that finish 4 foot tall will grow and finish just perfect in 5 gallon pots . No yield increase switching to 7 gallon pots But 7 gallon pots need to be watered less.
In my situation we used to water and use nutrient every watering . never skipping reason we used a pump from a 500 pre mixed ph container .
Led lighting you really are not growing a bigger plant like a grower under hps . Reason the bottom of the plant will not get any side lighting and it will be all pop corn buds . So you really only need 3 gallon pots with qb boards . Best yield plant size for a qb plant is a foot tall veg after the plant was fim . It will make a nice plant pulll about 5 to 7 ounces

I use 1.5gal 2.6gal plastic pots and 5gal buckets. My medium mix this run is
3 parts peat moss
1 part compost
1 to 2 parts perlite
2 cup hand crushed Oyster shells
1 cup of homemade shrimp/crab meal
1/2 cup broke clam shells
5 sun dried crushed eggs shells
1 to 1 1/2 cup of used coffee grounds
And I drilled a shit ton of holes in my plastic pot or bucket for more air.
I mix it real good in a wheelbarrow let it sit for a week then lightly spray it with the hose and mix again till it looks nice and evenly damped then let it sit for another week and mix it every other day before putting it in my pots. I don’t use much nutes but when I do it’s every other watering which is every 5 to 8 days an I alternate how much I give each watering. 2 weeks before I switch to flower I like to add a little molasses to the water then in flower I do 1 tablespoon of molasses and 1 tablespoon of my homemade grape/cranberry molasses to a gallon of water.

Great question @Pilted .....

Solo cups = 16oz

Filled 50ish/ 50ish peatmoss/perlite

1 package Ramen noodle = 1 16oz solo cup Filled with peatmoss/ perlite totally dry.....

4, maybe 5 packages of Ramen noodles = 1 16oz solo cup also filled with peatmoss/perlite totally drenched.....

5 Gallon containers are great for longer veg......

I'm trying something new this time....shorter veg and smaller containers......maybe 2ish gallons....

Watering slowly until the medium is saturated is key.....dry spots slow growth.....

This is really good info, looking forward to seeing more. When a new home grower starts growing one of the first things they need to figure out is what style of growing they want to use.

Shit, I got 10 ish harvest under me and after reading a few of these I might try a different style.😎

Keep them coming. We all learning a lot.

Just realized I didn’t say that I use the 1.5 gallon pot for measuring out the “Parts” of my mix. My bad y’all…
