I'm currently running a 2x2 to get a head start on germ/veg before moving the plants over to the 3x3.

The 2x2 doesn't have much room for my humidifier inside the tent. For now it fits but if they veg a few weeks I think it could be an issue.

I setup an intake and tried putting it directly onto a humidifier just outside the tent, but obviously it condensed and water is dripping out both sides of the intake. It also seems like a mold risk.

What are my options here? Is there a way to effectively run humidity outside of the tent?

Or should I use the dehu to try and get the lung room closer to the correct vpd range? This becomes a challenge because I have flowering plants calling for lower humidity, and 3 day old seedlings calling for more 🤷

Here's some progress pics of the flowering tent just cuz.

If the humidifier is outside, it will need a controller with a sensor inside the tent and a hose going into the tent. AC Infinity sells humidifiers like that. I have a T3 and it has worked well, both inside and outside tents. I also have smaller ones that don't take up much space. I've used them in a 2x2. Amazon has dozens of small humidifiers. I guess I don't favor either type. Bigger tanks don't have to be filled as often. Small ones fit small tents better.

Yeah I saw the ac infinity ones. I'm assuming theirs doesn't create condensation in the tubes?

The inside of the tube gets wet. That's unavoidable. The way to do it is to keep the hose pointing upward, so the water in the tube drains back into the humidifier. A slight slope is fine. I put a curve in mine to point in front of a clip fan.

What’s your temp at? I would run a portable ac unit and attach ducting to the unit and run it into my tent. As long as it blows colder than the ambient room temp, it’ll drop your humidity. Plus Cooler temps can bring out a lil extra color on your flowers

Humidity down to 30% is not bad for you at this point of flower. I wouldn't sweat it at all.

Here is how I put mine outside of the tent. It is controlled by an acinfinity 69 controller. There are some reptile humidifiers that can be mounted out side with a probe that goes in the tent.
