Just pulled this plant as it was already starting to dry in the soil

just hung it now it started smelling like grass like normal

just wondering what everyones preferences is
trying to learn something new🤘

I can think of many methods and they're all less than perfect. The one that works best for me is to ask my wife. 😉 She has a good sense for such things. Mostly we just dry for at least a week and then cure them in Grove bags. After about six weeks, they go into quart jars.

Do you notice any difference in smell when calling it?
Any thing to look out for or signs its ready enough to be closed up?

i dry at 20c (about 65f) and 55 humidity, or as close as i can anyways.
when the buds feel SLIGHTLY crispy , about 1 week, they go into jars with a hydrometer for at minimum 2 weeks.
burp the jars at least once a day.
anything over 62 humidity in the jars then i either keep the jars open, or worst case lay the buds out for a few hours.
that seems to work very well for me.

Sorry. I can't help with that. I lost my sense of smell a long time ago. That's how my wife gets involved.

Keep them in the dark to deactivate the chlorophyl. That's important.

We like to sample it. (Who doesn't?) If it vapes well, we're good. We don't smoke it anymore. I've been wondering if curing for vaping might be different from curing for smoking.

It will lose some of the green color. That's from the chlorophyl.

Putting a hygrometer in the jars helps. Installing a hygrometer in jar lids is one of my inventions.

unless i read the website wrong i'll just stick to my hygrometers instead of paying $10 for 1 lid.
plus their lid says 65 to 75 humidity is ideal for curing?
way to high for my liking, but to each their own
