I’m a new grower and have noticed light green spots on my leaves today. I’m growing auto flowers in Fresh Farms Coco Loco. The plants are 13 days old from sprouting. I have only used well water with silica PH at 6.1. Have not fed any nutes yet because my medium is Coco Loco and was told that it has enough in it for at least 3 to 4 weeks. Any help would be appreciated.

This light should be at least 24" above the tallest part of your plants.
Never let the plants grow closer k.

The burned leaves will not get better, but new leaves will be ok at 24".
In a few weeks the plant will be much larger and the burned leaves can be removed.
Don't weight more than another week to start feeding as auto flowers are hungry plants.
Make sure and keep the Calcium and magnesium levels up.

Hope this helps you.

I really appreciate the help. The is a new journey for me and I have much to learn. I’m installing a new light tomorrow and will make sure I hang it properly. I’ve moved the current light up until then. I’ll also take your advice and start feeding next week. Starting the CalMag on my next watering. Thanks again.

Where on the plant is this showing?
Upper or lower foliage? New or old growth?

yeah pop those lights a little higher, the curving in on the leaf is its trying to reduce surface area for the sun to take less in. the spots could be light dmg spots, your not foilage spraying them indoor right ? ive done the test and 100% can get magnification with droplets and burn the leaves, MASSIVE debate on that though.

the only thing that turns the leafs like that is pests or lights. so if you see no bugs, its the lights

i use a 100w vivosun led in a small cupboard to do 12 plants for 4 weeks. with this 100w light i can very very easy get light dmg even with the light not have much watts. than they move under the bigger light in the tent 400w hps than i move her once shes bigger again to a 600w hps light 40inches from the tall top of plant. half way through flowering ill turn my light back down to 400w . i wish you could just use the same light height and intesity for its whole cycle it would make it easy haha

13 day old from sprout. Upper part of plant.

Probably lighting as they are/were closer than they should be.
Small chance it may be early signs of Ca deficiency, do some deep reading on how to grow in coco. It is not the same as dirt.

Your going to want this light at least 30 inches above the plant tops! 65% power setting.
No closer, no higher power setting or you will burn your plants big time!

All the best.
Ron

Could be a few things. Check your pH runoff, maybe the coco's holding more nutes than expected. Also, could be a bit early for deficiencies

When it comes to seedlings.... I actually use a 5 dollar walmart grow light.... at this stage in their life.... they don't need strong lighting... I'll keep them under this light from day seed pops to about week 2 or 3....
I also will not feed any seedling until about day 30 to day 45(soil grows)
