Hi Growers,

Does anyone recognize this spider? I have some on my outdoor plants. Notice the leaf above—it has resin dripping down on it. I don't see any wounds on the plant that would explain the resin. Are these spiders something to worry about? How do I get rid of them? I am doing an organic grow using live soil and prefer not to use pesticides on the plants.

Thanks!BC

If you're on the North East coast you might wanna smash that thing
Good heads up, thanks! I'll be on the lookout.

I popped back in here for a minute last summer cuz I knew where to get a tomato bug identified quick 😂🤣😂 I didn't ask my gardening boards, I came here! (They were stinkbugs)

Spotted lantern fly. Kill it. They were very heavy in the 5 boroughs last year but seem to have lightened up in Queens this year. They have made their way out to Long Island also as I saw one in Babylon this year.
