COME ON @PhlizonGrowLight light giveaway!🤞 hahaha! These girls are just not doing what I want : ) I think itll be good smoke and it all smells great so far but I feel like they are around 70 maybe even less % of what they should be( I don’t know what that means😂) I went into this knowing this was going to be about it (unless I could swing getting a light) still working on super secret light stuff (not that secret lol) and I have my fingers over the Phlizon light giveaway crossed so many times my hand looks like Groot from Guardians of The Galaxy! 😂

Hey everybody : ) pulled the trigger on a project this morning (while I was stressing about the water heater). The cuttings I had taken were starting to suffer a little bit in their solos so I up potted them into the 1gallon bags I used to veg the run im doing right now indoors. I know its not ideal, but its all I could come up with in this short of time (couldnt make the 25 gallons with soil happen). I had just enough soil left over to fill 13 bags which left one unlucky gal out🤷🏼‍♂️ Im saving my pennies for the next indoor (thats just around the corner!)🫣 so close im actually starting to run my list through my head : )

These girls are not super hardened off so I may get the sun shade out and just move them outside and get them going (it’s that kinda project lol).

One Raskals OG and the rest are XX oh and the Raskals came from one of two Raskals one of which was male and I dont remember the one I cut from!😂

Good stuff, we're all on the re-potting thing it seems! I had similar with soil, had to leg it down the garden centre to get an emergency bag.

I'm also in the pre-planning for the next indoor grow. Got a list which keeps changing (I think 3 are nailed down), what you going for? I can't decide on either 5x3gal or 5x5 gal in my 5x5. I think the 5x5gal will be too big if I'm being honest with myself. Saying that I saw a fella on reddit today who had 8x7gal in a 5x5 (😳) which I just couldn't get my head around. Machete time just to get in the door...lol!

hey len! : ) it was kind of spontaneous but not at the same time. I didn’t really want to but had the idea a few days ago when I found some extra soil I had forgotten about😂 with as much light as I get in my back yard and how late it is (for my liking and plant size)

Gotta keep it dynamic! lol : ) I have been learning the more simple I can keep it means the less stuff I need to get hahaha! We’ll see how that goes : )

Where im at in the list phase is plants, I need to get my seeds popped and in there solos. I need to get my FF light warrior seed starting mix. And then during their solo stage ill pick up a new batch of soil for (not sure what pot size because i just had an big brain moment) about size of pot in relation to water saturation duration and feeding frequencies (it makes sense in my head)😂 im thinking a smaller pot size for sure though, Im running a 7gal so maybe a 3? Also im going to try and change up my grow space to make a “real” veg space and a flowering space. I had some hokey idea at the beginning of this whole thing and it was stupid and didnt come to fruition lol! The plans for the new area are “blue prints in my head” lol!

Thanks Len! Good luck to you! Though I feel a little less luck is slowly starting factor in and more skill is the case. We are learning and honing our craft. ✌️

the one and only! 😁

the pilot light went out so I replaced the thermocouple and it still didn’t work, so got on here and plumber told me to check it which I did along with jiggled some wires and hit stuff with the screw driver and crescent wrench 🤣 that seemed to fix it. For now! : )

where do you plan to put baby rascals?
That patio/veranda area looks very inviting for some XXXL bags. Bit of cannabis shade, cup of coffee ☕

I've always ran 3 gallon, I think it's a great size and more predictable in watering then larger pots IMO. Plus I like the little extra space I get in the tents vs 5 gallon.
I've not had any issues with roots in the 3 gallons, even with the longer flowering strains.

Yeh, I'd agree with this. I did 5 (and then 6 through no choice), 3 gal pots in my 5x5 last time out and that was plenty.

I was toying with 4/5 x 5 gals next time but I think it would be too much. 3 gal is a nice manageable size and I'm definitely up for quality over quantity and the option to grow more strains.

So one day my wife (the boss) and I were on a shower faucet job. Multi million dollar home. No pressure in the hot side so I rig a 3/8" flex water line 10' (for dishwashers) hooked to the shower and tried to clear the blockage. No go. So I say to the boss, "can't hurt" while I hit the valve HARD with a wrench. A piece of built up calcium comes flying out hitting the shower wall and problem solved. I said can't hurt because the next step would have been replacing the faucet which would have required removing large granite shower walls. I would have had to walk and not charge. Crazy. So while I sure as hell ain't seen it all in 40+ years I've seen enough to sometimes be helpfull😉

If they start growing good in their current bags I promise to you @Sunin I will put that Raskal in a 25 gallon :) it cant go on the porch (kids) but it would go right behind it out in the yard (fenced in garden).

That does sound nice! It’s finally cooling down enough to enjoy the mornings and evening again, for now!

I mean the proof is in the pudding! You guys kill it with the smaller pot sizes! I like my 7s but I wish I could get in there more often and feed! And itll be a little cheaper for the soil for runs (which I plan on trying the reuse technique).

are you ok with the amount of watering you have to do? Or is it that much deference from a larger pot (if you can compare).

I’m with you! At this point I can probably get the same amount off a few more plants in smaller pots than my 6 (5 the one ended up being male) in there 7s. At some point its just not worth it (not talking about the super soil tub growers) that shit is wild : )

So 3 gallons then? : ) I think thats where im headed!

Like I said Plumber, I wouldn’t have even considered going back out there and would have been spending more money than I need to on an alder unit, if you hadn’t of told me to go back out there and check shit!

The amount of soil used is one of the reasons I do the 3 gallon sizes, if I went to 5 gallon I would have to purchase almost double.

I have my watering dialed in where it's every other day, I could get away with using a little more water and going an extra day but I like to look the plants over good when I water so I like the every other day routine.

So originally I had two indoor Raskals and I took clones off of one of them (one turned male) and my dumbass doesnt remember which I took the cutting from! 🙄 i know🤦‍♂️ so we’ll see!
