Do i need an exhaust fan

I'm starting a home-made tent I'm just wondering what the cfm I need is would it be 100? Or is that to much minus ducting and everything the temp stays around 73-77 and humidity stays at 64-68
I'm just wondering do I have to buy the ducting ect or can I just get an exhaust fan and be fine?
The tent is like 2.5x2.5x7 or 8 feet

There is a formula for the cfm air replacment for sizing them. I cant recall it cuz im toasted but... I have a 5×5×8 and the calculation gave me a 6in so i oversized to an 8in. You have half the floor size but same height. A 6in would do well in your tent i suppose.

Plan on moving a fan in there once I get 2 more for the other tent also got a 100cfm exhaust fan on standby in my order
The outside frame is made out of pallet frames just bolted into the wall also ignore the temp by the fan its for the other tent
Couldve done it better but i did it all by myself including putting the mylar up which was harder than I thought

I use a 8 inch active air inline fans ..One exhaust fan per tent and normally in flowering I have two 20 inch fans per plant .
No issue with insects, no issues with fungi/fungus.
I feed my plants silica gold .. makes them strong a resistant to fungi and insects .
So far I have not had to spray for either ..... And I believe all the fans are part of the reason I haven't sprayed.

An exhaust fan would be vital i think. Get a fresh mix of air. Combined with a circulation fan.
I personally am terrified of powdery mildew and bud rot and i know that good air circulation is vital in preventing these. Also heat is a big deal for my setup so a large exhaust fan is mandatory. If you think your intake is goint to be sufficent run with it. But if you have flying pests then setting up a good negitive pressure enviroment could be benifical. If heat is not so much an issue youre probably gold. I tent to lean to overkill with equipment. I have 8 fans in my tent. 4 clip on a 6in intake and an 8in exhaust, a fan ziptied to my tents celing to blow on my lights driver and 2 standing fans to blow up onto the light with ac air when the lights are on and the flaps are open....thats 9. My bad. My leaves dance but are not being blasted.

I agree and like what you are posting .
I have allot of fans........ I have them set on low,,, I keep my plants dancing in the breeze.
I think the word breeze fits the best to know about how much air the plants can handle.
MJ do not like to much wind .
Time to bake .

An exhaust fan is not necessary if your temp and humidity are good. People run sealed rooms all the time. You still need air circulation.

Alr I plan on putting fans I just haven't and do you think 100 cfm will do bc I have a 195 4in in a 2.5x2.5 and it sucks in the walls alot?

My temp stays around 74-77f and 63-66 rh plan on putting fans in it but don't got the mo ey till tomorrow
Do you think it's needed? Also plan on getting dehumidifiers bc that's the rh without a humidifier

You want to be able to replace the air in your space within 3-5 minutes, you’ve got about 50 cu ft.. A 100 cfm fan will be more than adequate.

Agreed. The fan would replace the air more than twice a minute. I doubt that's necessary, but optimal air flow depends on other factors, such as the temperature and humidity of the air outside the tent and how much conditioning of the air inside the tent is necessary.

Obstructions (plants) can interfere with air flow too. It’s a good idea to put a small oscillating fan low in the space to move the under canopy air/humidity around.

I have a small fan I can either clip or put on the wall it has 4 settings

Would it create negative pressure? That's the problem I'm facing in my other tent I bought a 195 cfm 4in inline and it sucks in the walls so i stopped using it but I'm working on fixing it
