First out door grow, 3rd ever grow. Just wanted to experiment with 1 outdoor plant, it’s topped once and it also went into reveg when I first put it outside. Had japanese beetles but constantly killed them and haven’t seen any in a few days. Seems to still be stretching, it’s a little over 5 feet tall. Hardly any budding going on so I’m starting to wonder if somethings up. Don’t feed it, it’s in fox farm, rain water is all it gets.

It may take longer to properly flower after going into reveg however it looks on track and pretty lush

Would of thought it being summer it’s not getting 12/12 yet and still would be vegging

It does look a bit stressed with the single blades & the heavy praying

Praying happens when it’s stressed or can be a sign of good health in my “ experience “ they pray hard when stressed

When should I expect it to start flowering? I thought that they will flower outdoor as long as each day gets shorter, but I didn’t realize there’s still nearly 14 hours of daylight.

When the hours of light are 12 hours darkness or longer. At 14 it will still veg.
few mths Id guess till it’s going to get 12 hrs darkness

You dont need 12. It is the decreasing light that will trigger it. Location depending expect flowering to start first week of August under normal conditions. I am not sure how the reveging will effect the flowering time.

I’m in northern Ohio so hopefully I’ll beat the frost.

Thats the challenge for most people. I would invest in a shelter for it towards the end. Not sure what ohio weather is like in the fall though.

Outdoors plants start flowering long before 12/12 in nature imo. Mine switch over right around the mid point of August every summer I can almost set a watch by that. While the days are still fairly long along the 49th.

She looks okay. Don't worry and be patient knowing the plants will do there thing.
