1 week on the day of drying in 68°F tempt and 55% rh. Had to cut each branch to inspect for mite damage, so they are all hung individually. How should I tell when they are done? The branches are too small for me to do the snap test, and I did a light wet trim so any larger leaves that aren’t sugar leaves are crunchy to the touch. If I forcefully squeeze a main cola, it’s dry enough that it doesn’t leave residue on my fingers strong enough to hold them together. Still a little spongy, won’t return to its original plumpness but will expand back out after squishing hard.

I’m in a similar situation. I got my buds feeling pretty dry, but the stem doesn’t break yet. Don’t want to buds over dry though.

I’m curious to see the responses.

I’ll dry mine till it barely burns in a paper. Then it’s trim and grove bags. You want it to burn but not burn great. Works for me.

Thought there’d be a few more comments , maybe let’s give it more relevance.

We sometimes pick some buds and put them in a jar with a hygrometer. After a few hours, the humidity inside the jar will be about the same as the buds.

Drying in a shed cold temps over night have pushed temps in there down to 46

And that’s with a heater running

How will this affect my dry ??
