Not sure what this bug is, looks like a weird beetle with a large mouth. Also, can I feed general hydroponics synthetic nutrients to an outdoor plant? Starting to look hungry.

Glad I caught it so soon, first time seeing one. I’ll have to take action before more come, thanks
Looks like an outdoor grow, they usually hide during the day, check under your pots, and if there’s anything laying on the ground, like wood,, leaves, etc., move it away from your grow area. If you spray, you can probably get by with spraying the ground around the plants, and not the plants themselves. You don’t often get big infestations, they’re fairly solitary.

Ear wig. De will kill them. I have lived in my house for nearly 15 years and I always had these crawling pincher bugs that pesticide would not kill. I found one large one in my grow tent that someone identified as an ear wig on this site, I then matched it up with internet images. Food grade de and the farm has resolved the return of those pests that poison couldn’t. As a bonus of de my dogs tend to lay down on the residual it’s also used to keep flies off of livestock, the flies no longer hitch a ride on my dogs when they enter the house.

Agreed. I've only had earwigs a few times but DE clears that problem right up.
