Hi all, new user here :-)

I planted these thinking I bought Autos but then after checking the site again they weren't lol

Anyway the plant is nice and heathly looking in my opinion but is now 6ft touching the top of the greenhouse almost....

Am I right that this will still "Stretch" when it hits flowering???

What are my options here as the stealth greenhouse grow isn't so stealth anymore.... lol

It's been topped then topped then other bits topped.

What should I do??? Where should I top it now??

I'm guessing it's still Veg Stage. I'm in Northern Hemisphere

Thanks

Use some twine and redirect them or do as above. Bend over the branches or tie them off to something sideways. LOL sorry πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ
Will try that as well lol...

Some googling before said the stretch stage during flowering could increase the size 50 - 100% is that right 😲

Yeah you can google super cropping I’d go about 18inches down on your tallest tops. If you’re not comfortable with that technique you can do as galgrows says and tie them down. Nice looking plant !! πŸ‘πŸ‘

Can anything be done with the cropped section?

Eg stick it into soil and it will regenerate roots and grow like what tomatoe plants can do?

Thanks

First pic is a Jack Herer i pulled the top down made a knuckle in the stalk by squeezing the stalk with a plier as gently as i could. Yes it does crack abit but still it grows and heals as it ripens. Those other plants are lollipop and nearly finished i do this in the last month or so slowly abit at a time so to not shock it. Believe me these don't miss a beat when they are healthy to start it with.

You don’t actually take anything off the plant !! Super cropping is basically twisting and crushing the stem until the inside hurd snaps then bend it over in the direction that best fits your situation

OK so I might have done it wrong but something had to be done about it as it wasn't getting any smaller and I think theres probably 1.5 - 2 months before it will naturally flip... if it goes wrong it goes wrong and I know for next time to LST it sooner etc :-)

Anyway I tried to rub firmly and loosen up the inner of the stem to bend it which it did but maybe they were too thick to bend as sadly the outer core broke 😞 the thinner ones were OK to bend πŸ‘

I carried on as like I said it needed made smaller and ended up like this...

I'm hoping in a few days they will be attracted to the light and turn up the correct way etc

The pic actually makes them look droopy and dead lol but it's just the pic

Hoping the light will upturn them back like this

OK well the plant survived but is now spreading everywhere and again is one hell of a monster... given that its still in Veg and a natural 12:12 light cycle is still a good month away or so I don't know what to do...

my little stealth grow has got out of control, an Amazon driver or 2 have most likely saw it as they dropped parcels off in there

Think I might try and remove it from the greenhouse and just plant it in the garden and see what happens at least I won't need to worry about space then...... only thing is it's roots have grown through the pot into the ground

Should flower within the next couple of weeks!

Hey Purple......what an awesome problem to have!! You could just bring it over to CNY.....it'll put all my plants to shame!! Ha!!

I like what options have already been provided......ultimately, it comes down to what makes you the most comfortable.....I dabble and hope my outdoor produces at least 1 joint per plant....yuppers.....my expectations are very low for my outdoor grows....just the way it is.....

So on that note, another option would be to take some clones to shorten her.....a month before flower time gives plenty of healing time.....

Thanks all πŸ˜€ is this early signs of entering the Flowering phase?

There's just a slight issue... I've noticed mould on some of my tomato plant leaves so maybe taking them out of the greenhouse and putting them outside would be best anyway as it's getting quite damp in there with the weather cooling down abit and rain

At least outside there's less chance of mould I suppose πŸ‘

Well I took it out of the greenhouse as it was getting ridiculous, couldn't get in there to do anything as it just spread its self out everywhere... also some mould was appearing on the Tomato plant leaves so didn't want it getting onto it as well.

Hopefully it survives the outdoors πŸ˜€
