Your pots are big enough…..once the plants are stretching and flowering hard, you’ll need to water a bit more often.
You have the space to top and train them to fill up that space….if u wanna do it.
It’s not as complicated as U think. I’d start by topping each plant once.
That will get u 2 main branches. Lots of growers stop there and that’s fine. U then want to gently begin bending the taller branches out to side and tying down…..open her up so the top of the plant is more of an even canopy.
Growing inside is different than outside as the lights stay in a fixed position.
Plenty of growers do zero training or topping and grow great buds…..I used to.
But once I started opening up the plant, my yield went way up and I end up with almost all tops that have gotten an even amount of light intensity.
I grow in a small space….2’x6’ and use every bit of it. But the plants are never more than 36” tall, so I never run out of vertical space and can keep my lights at the desired level.
The pic is a current plant and from the base of the soil to the canopy top is only 18”.
Sorry to ramble but once I started opening up my plants, the results improved.
