Salutations,
Although i ain't even trying to follow the "news" anymore it seems to me the potential of this developer was under-estimated, possibly as a result of co$t:
The future of Induction Heating: Live interview with John from Vestratto | All about the Forge (2024-Apr-14)
4 months ago my initial post on YT was rendered invisible for some odd reason, so i didn't want to pay further attention and failed watching the rest of that video thinking it was just another glorified Mazzilli/Royer ZVS with a digital timer. It turns out after revisiting it carefully i finally found this most crucial information on the Vader (1h05m06s), e.g. the Forge with a black skin:
Assuming 1 Watt = 1 Joule per second (Power = Energy/Time):
Which does correspond to 12 Volts X 20 Amperes as from a power pack, then we get these additional numbers:
WOW!!
Well, please correct me if i got it all wrong but my guess would be that this actually implies a 30 Watts output every second for a total duration of 20 seconds if dealing with the DynaVap. By the way, 600 Joules is ~20 % more than i once evaluated when comparing its probable heat budget to that of my customized VG Hybrid Core in 2020 (~100 Joules after accounting for conversion losses, or between 83.6~206.6 Joules considering the lack of IH experimentation).
Then we can infer a ~150 Watts (146.66) output requirement with the Anvil when pre-heated for 15 seconds, so i figure the maximum allowable power output of a Vader effectively ranges around 238.64 Watts, which roughly corresponds to the 240 Watts "headroom" as previously announced - not to mention e-Cig gear is typically limited to a mere 100 Watts or so...
That makes sense at last, and that's not all! Apparently the very same manufacturer, who already sells vaporizers, also happens to work on a fresh-new model featured with "bio-availability" (1h02m59s) destined to out-perform Enrico Bouchard's Sublimator!! According to the interviewed person it will be known as the 'Tornado' (1h00m33s) and that's IH-optimized, so maybe those of us blessed with deep pockets may wish to wait and see if that's going to be available in time for the next holidays!!

Too bad we ain't got more detailed news for weeks, fingers crossed.
P.S.: Now i've really got to wonder, will this prove compatible with the 'Tempest' of Mad Scientist? ...
