Good morning Gro Bros!

Well looks like bad news for the Purple Thunder strain resurrection. It seems this 30 some year old seed that I got to grow is a male. Don't see any white single pistils at week 6 of veg. Now getting preflowers ball with stem forming on secondary branch stems.

Such a shame. He smells really strong and there's purpling streaks on the branches.
I still have about 8 of these seeds left. I'll try to get those to pop I guess.

Have space to save him? Get that pollen! Hit your female when you get one make yourself a successful resurrection with a bag full of seeds!

If you only got a few 30 year old seeds left that golden dust holds the future lol

Well if I was able to keep him short maybe but it's a sativa dominant 70/30 they get about 6ft indoors. He'd fit in my main tent but I want to use that one for females. He's about 20" tall now. I can maybe grow a 44" plant in the closet tent he's in now.

Maybe if I top it alot. Maybe it'd stress it into making female flowers. Not sure if it's possible to flip male cannabis to make female flowers.

That I’m not sure, I know we can block hormone production to reverse but I don’t think there’s any way to start hormone production in male plants

If there was I think people would ever worry about getting a male lol

Here's the Special Kush from RQS that I harvested yesterday.

Final dry weight 225g or 8 oz from 1 plant.

Has a nice piney earth smell. Super sticky. All the small leaves were coated in trichs. It's the icky sticky

so my powers been out since 430 am this morning. Its out on the entire mountain. Utilities company says theyre out investigating, they have no idea whats wrong. Not even the slightest assumption.

hooked up the generator and went back to bed with a couple alarms set for when the grow spaces come live. and i kicked everything back on manually.


Im about to go to the country club, i really dont want to leave a generator running here by itself, but i have to lol. Got plants 2 weeks into 12/12 atm.


Can try and keep a grower down, but aint gonna happen long 🤙 with any luck ill come home to a not burned down garage thats set the entire mountaintop ablaze. There's no way in hell a fire truck could get up my driveway. No fuckin way, aint happenin.


I still smoke ciggs because i still enjoy smoking them. And i probably wont stop until i dont enjoy them anymore. Just the simple truth lmao. I roll em from Drumm and Peter Skokybe and Tops lol. Oldschool prince albert style.

Ive got some cigg smoking friends who smoke in their cars, they have ashtrays, ive left cigg butts that look like roaches basically every time im in there, and some funny as hell cop stories have resulted from that too lmfao.

Hey man just so you know in all my years experience I'd take lights stuck off during flower than lights stuck on.

I've had 3+ day power outages strike me right in the middle of flower and the plants don't even miss a beat, if not invigorated! 🤠

Yeah ever since they jacked the taxes up on cigs here in CO so that they are over 10 dollars a pack, I switched to roll your owns. I found this brand of tobacco called "Largo" and as a Camel smoker I gotta say, it's good stuff. Switching wasn't too hard, but you can definitely tell the tobacco doesn't have all the same addictive chemicals as prerolls do. Probably way better for you, actually. But you can tell something is missing, at first. But that only lasted about 2 weeks, and now, I can't stand prerolled cigarettes.

I get a pound of tobacco and 4 cartons of filter tubes for about 40 bucks. That equals out to about a dollar a pack, just like when I started smoking! 🤣 My lungs thanked me, too. Roll your own is definitely the way to go.

I need to grow my own tobacco, again. Shit's not easy to grow - at all, but not too bad once you get the hang of it. And then you know for sure there's no added chemicals! 🤠

Have any of you ever seen tobacco seed? They're fuckin tiny like poppy seeds!

I can't stand premade ciggs now. And my lungs are in way better shape then anyone else I know who's smoked as long as I have. Siblings included. It's definitely a lot lighter a drag on my health then the premade ciggs were. It's very noticable. My entire body feels like shit for like 2 days when I buy and smoke a pack of tailor made cigs.


Checked my pollen sheet. Should have a nice dust layer built up by this evening. This Haymeadow jizm is all going on my small PB2 skunk-ass pheno plant.

That's a cross I'm making for myself 😈

it actually goes red in some plants when exposed to air for the same reason blood is read. Oxidized iron lol. Can actually be indicative of mild deficiency in lots of plants. But also some plants just keep enough iron in their sap for that to happen. Usually the reddened sap will dry nearly black, just like blood too lol. Ive had a couple flowers over the years produce red pressed rosin and BHO as well. not sure what goes on there, assuming more oxidized iron in the sap.


Damnit my ride to works here.

Pretty wild!! I've never seen red outta the stem....awesome.....

I've seen plants produce, what looks like an abundance of trichomes built up, but is in fact a type of sap....nothing that'll get you high....

Hey @Zill .....I thought of you when i was typing this.....hope all is growing well with you.....
