Hello, as the title makes you understand rain is coming this month togheter with wind

I have three photoperiodic I am using a still wire to support 2 of them.

The third was trimmed at the top then tide with some thing cords to meke it wider and more open there are some brunches that look weak and they are bending a little.

Any advise on how I can support it? Is the rain bad for the plants. They are in mid/advanced flowering stage

Can send some pictures tomorrow to show better in the next hours

Hey grower! : ) two parts here, bare with me lol. Can you build a type of hoop house with a plastic cover for them? Im getting this question out of the way because this is what I have done in the past with storms (late flower). If thats something you can do then start there and we can get you totally dialed! If thats not doable I totally get it and let’s proceed 🤘 t-post or some other very rigid poles or stakes, also check out the plastic square netting that comes in roles. I would get some of that and wrap the entire plant so it’s kind of supporting its self with the netting (I hope that makes sense). Check out GNick55, he grows trees outdoors and has some supports around his plant.

I dont think rain is ideal at this point for your plants but I dont think it’s the end of the world. It’s the humidity and temps that follow. I would absolutely be out there after the storm shaking branches, I have even used a leaf blower (gently of course) through the garden in the mornings because of dew.

Anything you can do to keep plants dry is worth doing, or trying at the very least. Even a Tommy Bahama beach umbrella can work. This pic includes my use of a beach umbrella with surrounding stakes and string to keep branches upright. I found out (by mistake) that the air vents at the peak of the umbrella actually let rain in so I covered the entire umbrella with a plastic sheet. I also tied some of the umbrella spokes to the nearby poles so it won’t lift off and blow away.

Me too.👍. Probably not till after the rain stops. Well need sun and a breeze after this rain stops. If it stays cloudy and calm for days after....we're probably screwed. That's what happened last year, first week of October.

We'll find out, though 🤞

They can. Like Hoss said, youll need a good breeze after it stops. How much longer they have?

Mine will be starting their 9th week on the 2nd of October. So I'm fairly close, by maturity rate. I'm figuring mid October to get um right, but I'll take whatever Ohio gives.

By season patterns go, if we survive the crap we're having, it'll be very pleasant till end of October. ( Indian summer)
