I’ve been soaking them in a hydrogen peroxide solution, then transferring them to wet paper towel and waiting for tap root. Then into the soil they go. First entry was 1/3 sour diesel that popped, and then three days later was chopped down by an underwear gnome. The next run was a longer soak and straight to soil after the beans popped. That was GG4 still 0/2 . This third run will be a 12-24 hour soak, followed by the paper towel and after I see tap roots into the soil. I might use straight coco without any perlite mixed in. Again this is frustrating, so so frustrating 😂🤣😂

Plants will expand the root zone before building the growth above, to a certain degree, if that makes sense.....

It could be indica leaning, meaning short internodal spacing....

Genetics.....

Light....

It's probably best to start a new thread. That way people can focus on your issues. It's likely to get lost in the chatter in this one. Do you know how to do that? If not, it's understandable since you're new to this. I'm still figuring some things out myself but I can try to help with that if you want. 👍

Hey Kane welcome to the farm, glad to have you. You’re having some trouble with your grow? What’s going on? Typically anyone can start their own thread and ask for help from the community. Right now we’re posting on a discussion thread for a one gallon challenge. I know that the site can be confusing, I’ve been on here a while and I still get turned around every now and then. As a way for you to cast a broader net I would suggest starting your own thread with an intro to your current grow and try to be as detailed as possible. You can tag me in the post and I’ll hop on over and check it out. To tag me just type @MartyMcFly42oh and it’ll pop up in my notifications.

So when you start a thread definitely use DWC in the title of your thread. There’s a lot of growers on the farm who have experience in that particular style of growing. I’ve never tried it, but I would imagine plenty of people have.
