Its really bad. Me and my moms side of the family all grew up here for generations. Never seen anything even close to this bad. It looks almost apocalyptic here on the TN side in a lot of places. It's a lot worse right over the mountain in NC.

If can, stock up on food now. It's only going to get worse as the year comes to an end, I promise.

I'm buying a couple extra 50lb bags of rice this month. I have a feeling we will be needing it.

Got one tent still running on a generator.

Can’t really navigate the internet right now to research this. I’ve got some up canopy yellowing. It’s not on the lowers.

These plants were under 550-600ppfd of HPS until my power went out. I had to switch them to LED and I’ve been giving them 450ppfd. Possibly just a weird response from the massive change up in spectrum?

Any tips from my farmer fam?

last and first pic looks a bit magnesium def. the one with the leaf in your hand looks more like N to me.

A magnesium weirdness can def 100% come from a quick transition to LED though on some sensitive plants.

You think give them some extra epsom or just let it ride through the lighting transition?

im not sure. even my most sensitie land racey sativas can tale 5-600 ppfd under my panels fine. Maybe being in flower is a rougher change. idk. Im not really sure here at all.

In a mid flower situation, if need magnesium, i would lean toward the dreaded cal mag, if you have some, because it doesnt have to be broken down to be uptakable first. Also would give a touch of N. Epsom salts wouldnt be really getting uptaken until a watering or two on. With my sentitive sativas i just periodically give them epsom to help keep the led sensitivity at bay. is a pretty slow thing IIRc

if no cal mag, id say give em some epsom now, and then let em ride through til the end.

Yeah man, it’s horrible. We got it as bad as anyone here. Our whole downtown was completely destroyed. There’s always the legends about the 1916 flood and this one blew that record away.

I’ve got stories to tell but I’ve opted to not share them here because they are simply too horrific. Our family is certainly counted as one of the lucky ones..

Seeing reports of looters.

That shit would be dealt with quickly ☠️✌️💨

Yeah but that’s always to be expected in epic disasters. The true story on the ground is that people are being exceptionally helpful to neighbors and strangers alike.

The addict class appears extra fiendish though I will admit ;)

Hi y'all! Still having dry eyes and can't really read well. Maybe it helps to zoom in on the page. The plant with the weird leaves is still not doing better. I might use a peppermint oil solution to kill off any possible root rot.... buds of the plant still look fine so far.

Yup, so that's taken care of. With this method I was once able to save a seedling from mildew without transplant. Stunned the growth for a while but it turned out to be my favourite of the whole grow. It's pure organic peppermint oil, strong shit, so I only use 1-2 drops on 200ml, make sure the surface of the pot is covered, wait a minute or so and then give it a good rinse. Stuff is anti fungal, probably a bit harsh on the roots, but I will report back how well it works.

I'm thinking maybe it's time to tie some plants up.

I have an elastic net for this tent. Too late now. No idea why I didn't use it lol. Busy isn't an excuse for that one. 🤔

My seeded OJ BB 3 clone started showing some bits of bud rot here and there so I took her. Hoping there's at least a small handful of ripe beans in there
