Ty! A hydro build has been the end goal all along. Its just taken me so long to get everything one piece at a time that when I had everything environment wise I did a soil grow to pass the time as i continued acquiring and saving. Has been like 6 months...

I hear ya bud, so damn expensive 😭 a big smile when you get everything you want though haha, I really like those fans man are those ACI 6" gen 2?

I wanted everything controllable from my app. Then I realized how useless that is for the circulation fans because they never need to shut off. So this time I removed the uis cables and have them turned on. Easier. And I have an affordable alternative oscillating fan in my small tent that is just a mad man fan that whips around sort of violently. So I have to say the ACI fans perform well.

Thanks amigo, I appreciate the info. I am using 2 pedestal fans right now and they're kinda hogging valuable space, so was thinking about these. Think I will pull the trigger soon. Cheers amigo 🍻

Made some dry sift today.

Shit pushed up into the corner is trim kief. Large pile top left is from trim and shake and the clumpy shit from a fresh frozen plant that was too larfy to be worth trimming. It's my first run making hash. I did it dry ice. Got it put up in the cool dark grow room. Hooray for hash. Dry sift hash. One day I'll graduate to ice water hash but this was easy. Like took me minutes. I'm going to fuck with pressing it I imagine.

I learned sticky sift does not chop with a card like I thought it would. Ahhhhhhhh memories.

One of the few things I did before I left my job for retirement was to make hash presses. I have an extra one made out of A2 tool steel with tolerances of .0015".
If you have a vise, I'll send it to you if you shoot me your addy in a p.m.

I have a hand held for the disks and a preform for the press. Thanks for the kind offer though.

I'm extremely curious about this, as I'm looking forward to making hash myself.
1) All in all, how much in total did you produce?
2) How much trim/leaf did it take to make the hash you made?

It seems that the trail I'm walking on was made by you. We have the same set-up, same stuff inside the tent. As far as I know, seems like the only difference we have is, you're trying to keep the temps inside your tent down, and I'm trying to keep mine up.
I dream of making hash...haven't had any good hash since the mid 80's over in London.
This is the main reason I asked if I could interrupt your life by asking you questions on my grow, because you've done it already and gone exactly where I'm trying to head to.
I'm already extremely grateful to you.

Bro you can jump on here and ask me anything. I give you my number if you'd rather text. I'm easy. Unfortunately I have no method for gauging the end result of the amount of soft I have. I didn't get enough dry ice to use all the trim I had. The larger pipe is from a half of a gallon bag of trim and shake.

Alright, Patrick...
I'm guessing that you got about 4-8 grams out of 1/2 lb of trim. That's not bad in my books.

I bought some hash plant strains from a U.K. seed bank (Balkhi, Tashkurgan, Chitralli, Tirah, Mazar, and Arcadian), so I'll be growing these eventually to make hash and not for the buds.
I have many seed strains of sativa's too. That's where I'll get my buds from.

No need for you to give me your phone # yet. I feel pretty confident that I can get something suitable from my 1st grow. It'll be the next 2 grows where I'll be off and running. It'll be out of those grows where I'd like to present you an oz or 2 as a gift of appreciation for your advice (and believe me, itll be well worth it to me). Dunno if you smoke vapes or not. I can bring some of them too if they're not available in AZ .
Anyway, that's down the road. Baby steps 1st.
I'll send you another message later explaining my plans/dreams to see what you think.

I missed the Sunday update on the auto show. In week 7 we are. The girls have flip-flopped on me and the nitro switched up. Caught up? Lefty is back to green and righty needed some nitrogen. I top fed her with it and we shall see.

@GlueGuru was that you with the diy dry herb vape? Or was that @DrDankHands? I can't recall. Either way I'm just insanely happy with this combo piece that dabs both concentrate and herbs at the same time. I seriously can't say enough good things about it. I posted about it in a previous vape thread but I don't recall if I followed up with you fellas

It can also vape concentrates and herb at the same time, one of my favourite things about the ball vapes
No amigo I didn't know you had got one, will need to fill me in on what you got dude 😝 I love vapes more and more these days, in the market for a decent handheld one next for travel and stuff 🤔
