Help i think my friend killed it

I left for like a week or so left a friend to look after my plant and animals this is what I came back to. I've tried everything I can think of and it seems to be getting worse.

Do you have more seeds? If so plant them and don’t waster your time. You can be at this same stage this time next week with a new seed.

If not, I would raise that light about 10-16”, and use just a spot of water on sprout, and try to force some root development. You will want the soil to be just barely moist. Not wet.

Yes I have more and I think I will do that I have more space now so I think I will start two more just to be safe

I been using a Lil spray bottle and only when the soil is dry

What's your plan for growing it to harvest?
Outdoors?
If not, within a few short weeks a plant is going to need proper lighting, ventilation nutrients, etc
I would make sure I have that stuff setup before starting another seed, plus it gives you a good environment from germination to harvest.

Growing under lights can require considerable time and effort, especially at first when there's so much to learn and do. When you have time, you could start a thread to help you get started. I'm sure you'll get plenty of helpful suggestions. It's best to have your growing space established before starting plants. Working around growing plants can be troublesome.
