So this auto (durban poison) is probably week 9-10 of flower and last week I opened the tent and pretty much overnight all the leaves turned yellow (1st 2 pics are from Friday). I think it's just senescence since nothing had changed, PH and PPM are both fine and not changes to the environment. I was going to harvest but when I looked at the trichomes under a microscope I didn't see any amber -- just cloudy trichs with some clear mixed in. Figured I'd give it another week but now all the leaves are completely dead and dried yet the trichs don't seem to indicate it's ready.

Should I harvest now? Does senescence happen this fast or is it something else?

Speaking of trichs, the buds really aren't that frosty, by far the lease amount of trichs I've seen compared to my other 8 plants which is unfortunate but I'll probably just use it to make hash or something.

Because the plant shit the bed so quickly I’d suspect botrytis. When you pull on the leaves are they coming off easily? Kind of hard to tell from your pictures but it does look like they might have mold. Inspect the branches and see if there is any discoloration (loss of green). And of course check the buds also.

No they don't come off easily, the stems are actually still kinda green / alive so have to really pull down or cut to get them off. I just inspected all the buds and branches and didn't see any mold or soft spots and the branches are still green. The buds have never really had a strong weed smell b/c they're not that frosty unfortunately, now they just have the same hay smell you get when drying but no musky or moldy type of smell.

Humidity fluctuates between 55-65% but there have been some times when it got up to 75%, typically after watering. I have a dehumidifier in the room but it only gets triggered when the other tent I have goes above 65%.

Mmmm… that is weird to have such a rapid leave die out (as it’s not normal). It really looks like the vascular system has shut down and not providing water to the plant. I’ve seen stems do this when it gets botrytis (grey mold) on the stem and destroys the xylem (which is what’s transporting the water through the stem). So if you get it low on the main stem the whole plant just dies (and looks wilted). Often you won’t see the mold on the outside of the stem, but it just turns a tan color.

If not botrytis then maybe a root problem. But to actually answer your question, I would take it down as it sure looks like your buds are drying up.

Edit: seems totally far out, but read post where growers think a disgruntled neighbor or family member sprayed something on their plant.

I'm not sure I'd rule out senescence yet. Do the buds look like they're ready to harvest? (A close-up picture of a few buds might help.)

Depends on if “pretty much overnight all the leaves turned yellow” literally means I or 2 days. The first 2 pictures look like it could be a natural fade, but the last 2 pictures look like something else.

Almost appears to have been too warm and the plant is just sucking all the moisture out of the leaf? If i read it correctly it's been in flower 10wks?? I'd say really close to finish.🤷‍♀️

What are your watering practices and what medium are you growing in? Do you get plenty of runoff? Do you measure the ppm of your runoff water? Leaves almost look burned to me. I don’t get regular runoff in my grow and this happens when I’m not flushing out the excess salts often enough.

If the sugar leaves are dying also somethings up! Can’t really tell from the pictures!

Yeah... This is confusing. I've seen leaves do that every grow, but I've never seen them do it all at once. Then again, I mostly grow photos and this is an auto. Things can happen rapidly with autos. Let's have a look at the buds.
