Hi. I'm doing a couple auto flowers, first grow. What are the best options for plant support. I didn't do any training so I didn't use a net (maybe next time). are you using bamboo sticks or tomato cages? Any suggestions?

Thanks

I just got these! I was waffling back and forth between bamboo and the style pictured. I have used bamboo a lot outdoors for various grows and gardens, it works really well and last a few seasons before breaking down (splitting) and it holds dirt up in it (mine were hollow). I think bamboo is a great option and you can get a ton of them for cheap. With that said i wanted a more permanent setup and something that wasn’t a pain in the ass to clean, or would get wrecked if I soaked it. These are more expensive for less quantity so im building my collection slowly, probably only need another pack of 25 really lol! 😂

I almost got the 5ft version! Really glad I went out and measured one last time hahaha!

How long have you had yours? They seem really durable for “indoor growing of cannabis”. Outdoors, I think I could really mess them up lol.

That’s the sauce right there 😁

i think that without sun and rain that could eventually damage the coating overtime they could last forever indoor
Thats what I was thinking. Along with how much more gentle (at least I am) with my ganja plants vs the outdoor veggie garden lol! : )

I ended up getting some bamboo for now. They are pretty thick though. I'll try it out. Thanks to everyone.
You’ll like being able to stake your plants! : ) it adds a level to your setup! You can get creative too with how you connect your bamboo! have fun! 😃✌️

Depends on the strain.
Me, its DIY trellis netting and PVC I also use silica gold .

I use these when needed. Jiggle a branch with a mature bud and you'll see just how heavy those dang things are.

Oh yeah! They can sit there just fine for days then all of a sudden they’re upside down below the canopy line!🤣

Oh bamboo all the way.

We have to understand the plants will take on water weight and SNAP so be ready!
A bamboo backbone and green garden tape works for fifteen gallon pots.

Bamboo but I ScrOG so I don't really use them in the traditional way. I use them to hold down branches on the net that aren't long enough to reach the other side of the space.
