I lived in Huntington Beach from the mid to late 70s! Bought pounds of Colombian gold there From a guy named Duarte. I know the world can’t be that small! And there were enough seeds in it to last 50 years easy!

I'll probably get dragged for admitting this...but my primary smoking implement is my old one hitter that I've had for like 30 years.

My kids (adults now) make fun of me for it..

Now, in my defense....I don't smoke much, an ounce will last me for about 4 months, so my old wood and brass one hitter is efficient and effective.

I have a cheap bowl somewhere, but i always go back to my little one hitter.

I am going to pick up something new to try this weekend though!

I'm a medical user dosing at about 100mg a day and I do my uptake in different ways. For smoking I prefer a bong because it's smoother on the throat but if I want a toke when I'm out and about I carry a store bought vape or I will roll one of my own for the road. I make edibles with my trim via coconut oil infusion: The oil goes into gummies and the pulp goes into brownies so nothing goes to waste. The gummies are a new thing. I was mixing a teaspoon of THC infused coconut oil into a mug of hot Ovaltine and was looking for something else I could do. The gummies are easy, it's really just solidifying the oil with Jello and some extra unflavored gelatin. I don't have a mold, I use a glass dish and cut it into serving sized squares.

It wasn't from your guy. And it was never brick weed or seedy. Of the three kilos there was only one seedy bud as big as a grapefruit. Broke it open and it was packed with seed. Never seen anything like it. All the seeds were female,,, never got a male out of that bunch. Some of the stoniest weed I've ever had. That was a hell of a great time to be in SoCal. If they hadn't ruined it I would still be out there. But I saw the writing on the wall in late 1979 and I was out early 1980. Bought that pipe in a shop at five points. Was a wild time!

I hear you! Totally changed! More like Vegas now! I think the Golden Bear is long gone! Replace by high-rises! Was a good place to listen to music! Two bedroom apartment three blocks from the beach! 225 a month! L O L! And that was kind of steep back, then! Huntington Beach jail was the first one I ever got acquainted with! Unfortunately, not the last! Worked my way up to OCJ!😅

The Golden Bear is long gone. Was a great place! Never knew who was going to be there. From local bands to the Stones. Always enjoyed the 4th of July pier riot. And of course they ruined downtown. My Apt was two blocks off Main St. two bedroom $200 a month. Then the rent shit and property values started getting stupid. I was about to buy my first house in Costa Mesa. Then killed the deal and left. The only place I've ever lived where I could be surfing at sunrise, drive to Big Bear go ski, drive back to HB catch the even set and party on the beach that night or go to the Golden Bear all in one day. You haven't lived until you have been to Disneyland on LSD. Or flew a car off Edwards Hill. Or something magical like swimming with the sharks, seals and dolphins in the kelp. I really enjoyed SoCal until the you know who's screwed it up....

Glass bong for me, though I've been using my bubbler lately. I might smoke a bowl on occasion.

There was an old place over at Sunset Beach called Sam`s, later Don the Beachcomber and when that closed, it became a Thai place or something. I mention this because my buddy and I were trying to get a conversation started about turning it into a Golden Bear like venue when they closed Don the Beachcomber. BTW if you were kicking it with the stoned surfer crowd you probably knew some old friends of mine. Sadly, there's been too many memorial paddle outs the last few years. Lost my best friend there in 2022, a Hawaiian dude named Tony who fucking knew everybody in town. I got back into growing because of him. He got cancer so I bought a light and helped him with a garage grow. When he passed, his son gave the light back to me and every time I go to my shed and pull the plants out for the day, I see that light and I remember my buddy Tony.

I still use coconut infused oil I’m waiting for 2 new shoulders and suffer bad nerve pain close to my neck so I rub some where it hurts, it works for me but it could be in my head 😂 who knows 👍

I can't speak for you, but the fact that I no longer get achy to the point I have to take ibuprofen anymore tells me it's not in my head. The science says cannabis agitates high blood pressure... mine has gone so far down If it went any lower I will be in hypotension. I had a chronic dry cough I could never shake. Now I have to force a cough if I feel a little phlegmy. And last on the list, I was afflicted by the silent monster known as anxiety to the point I was having to take meds for it and I was able to throw them away. I've even lost 80 pounds thanks to weed. Seems counter intuitive with the munchies being a factor but the Ovaltine with THC coconut oil is a great appetite suppressant. Weed really has been my wonder drug!

I’m 100% with you 👍👍 long story short,
Diagnosed OCD at 19 sever hand washing to the point of bleeding had to do it even times of course 😂 2,4,6 you get the point.
Tried different meds and cbt finally ended up on citalapram until sept 22 🤯 about 30years.
Had huge breakdown then ended up at crisis point so gave up alcohol wow that was hard.
Found out in the meantime had 2 scrap shoulders from birth so that blew me away, then gout so out went processed food red meat, then high cholesterol.
They put me on 300mg of venlafaxine 2 years ago I’ve managed to half it in that time Gabapentin for nerve pain went in the bin and I refused statins and gout medication.
Re started my weed journey all around the same time sep 22.
I’m a new man, went from 15st to 11.5st all I did was smoke weed give up processed food alcohol 🤯 and red meat.
No high cholesterol
No gout
Perfect weight for me
Weirdly my toe nail infection has also gone 😂
Not as much mental behaviour 🫣🤣
Just need to drop the last 150mg of venlafaxine (apparently it’s like coming off heroine now I’ve never had that so have no idea but I do know if I miss a dose for as little as an hour I change rapidly for the worse)
It’s awful but got me through a bad time.
I’m all for weed therapy pull your heads out your arse uk government 😂
