Whats up guys i got two autos that i am trying to grow during the winter here in California. I currently have a auto from happy valley genetics pineapple diesel which is 2weeks in and a 42 fastbuds gorilla zkittles which is 7 days in. i know they probably wont yield as much due to less light but was thinking about bringing them inside under light before it gets dark but not sure if to go that route. I have them in 3 gal fabric pots with coco and perlite i have been feeding the 1/4 the recommended nutes from advanced grow a&b connoisseur. I have the ppm at around 290-310 and water ph at 5.8 (tap water) and so far it has been good just dont know about the light situation and weather conditions as it has started to get cold here in cali. What do you guys think, can i pull this off and get a decent bud or just expect a low quality grow.
Thanks

I think you commented on my thread, similar idea. Greenhouse grow in central ish california.

Light does make a difference, but the biggest issue I’ve had I think is the night time temps. I got a space heater on a controller that turns it on when it gets to 55, then shuts off at 75.

Looking good! gonna get beefy!
Im hoping it turns out good she doesn’t really like the cold too much lol didn’t realize she grows better in warmer climate. The fast buds seed one next to it does not mind the cold at all since her characteristic show she grows better in cold

Yeah, I started these autoflowers with the hopes of some cool winter colors, realizing that I don’t get those from cold snaps until flowering. Got a couple more weeks with the heater running, when we get close to the end I’ll probably cut it off a couple nights to stress them

Anything you learnt this round is gonna make a huge difference next time

It was super windy and cold last night here in California and saw this at the top of my plant would this be considered a cold snap lol?

maybe, talking about that blue coloring? can’t tell if it’s the plant or from the light.

I’ve got basically no experience but a lot of reading lol

I had one of four plants in my grow turn some purple. It was pretty close after we hit fall and the temps dropped, but it was only one plant and they all were within 10 feet of each other

I’m not sure if it’s strain dependent, or temp, or a little of both? Unrelated I talked to a guy at the farmers market that pumped co2 into his grow room for a similar reason.

Got better pics of the budlet? Or full plant pics? Someone who knows more will show up soon

I will as soon as i get out of work i had taken this last night lol I usually open the tent up in the morning a bit to get some air flow and maybe something similar happened with the air going into the tent? But it did drop down to 43 last night and was super windy

My winter girls ready for their flip today. They're photos so I just stopped putting them under supplemental light in the shed today.

They were accidental monster cropped clones I took back on August 1. Never topped or fimmed. The only thing taken from them is a couple lower stems from each to propagate the next generation. The only thing given to them has been rainwater, sunshine and a couple extra hours of artificial light. They are growing in Recipe 420 Bhang.

The sunflowers and cilantro are companion plants to aid in thwarting off unwanted pests and to attract beneficial pests. In a week they will get a soil amendment for the nutes they will need through flowering. In two weeks they'll start getting a little molasses added in the water for a carb boost from stretch to finish.

These have been very easy strains to work with. Durban Poison (landrace Sativa) and Ice Cream Cake (Indica hybrid, Gelato 33 and Wedding Cake parents). Also a good pairing of night and day strains for the garden.

Sorry man I haven’t been on this barely getting off a bad cold but man those plants look really nice! I do want to try photos during the winter and see if i can flip them or just save them for the spring but your plants are loving life man

Little update on the plants they are doing pretty good pineapple diesel is getting pretty close to harvest and the gorilla zkittles is in almost 2 weeks of flower. somehow this little warrior got into the greenhouse and it seemed to like it so I don’t even mess with it lol

Looks good! Praying mantis are bad mother fuckers. They’ll eat anything smaller than them. Even spiders or other mantis.

I work in a foundry, found one under the furnaces. Wanted to pick homie up to save him but it attacked anything that came close lol
