Howdy everyone I just joined, thanks for having me.

I wanted to start a journal and get some feedback and have a place to ask questions and show off my grows, I don’t have many folks to talk shop with.

I haven’t grown since about 2005, I just finished up a good grow that I’m just now starting to smoke and I’ve recently setup a very humble veg tent to keep my grows coming and keep my 4x4 tent flowering. I had decided to grow again and jumped into it with a 4x4 ac infinity grow kit, I got some clones to start with and grew out ice cream cake and a venom og or venom runtz cross.

it wasn’t great but for my first grow in 20 years it’s not awful.

Here is what I’m working on now, it’s a cheetah piss clone, I repotted her into a 10gal pot and spread her open and lowered a trellis and kept pulling it out as flat as I could, it’s a beast of a plant though

It’s been a day or two since I reported and flattened it out and it’s bounced back really well, I’m going to get in there and defoliate everything under the trellis and take some cuttings and send her into bloom.

I’m growing in promix hp, I run the GH 3 part nutes, with silica and cal-mag, very basic.

I also run a 2x4 veg tent and have a mom of super boof and sundae driver,

I’ve also germinated some gorilla zkittles, shishkaberry and pine apple express from Barney’s farm,

I’m sure I’ll be posting a ton of questions and updates as I go, thanks again for having me and any tips or advice are very welcome

This plant is Mimosa dream and after planting 1 seed and after 17 days it has sprouted another seedling, the soil was not contaminated and it was definitely only 1 seed planted as the others are all accounted for in pots, it seems as if an extremely rare occurrence has happened with (polyembryony) which is extremely rare.

If anyone has any insights into this or any other reasons please could you advise

I don’t think that is a cannabis plant, I think it’s a random plant that survived in your soil and is now sprouting because conditions are favorable, you would get more and better answers in a dedicated thread

I prepared the soil beforehand and made sure of no contamination from any other seeds or wood or anything and it was clear.

Unless you pasteurized or sterilized your soil chances of rogue weeds can be pretty high you’ll know if it’s marijuana or not soon

I got a little update and a question for you fine folks,

After reporting this big gal into the big 10gallon pot she’s been growing like crazy, but showing what I believe are calcium and magnesium deficiencies, I can’t figure out why, I’m feeding her full strength nutes with full strength silica and cal-mag, about 1200-1300ppm ph’d to 6.3. She’s had two feedings since the repotting but I’ve watered a little heavy, until some run off. None of my mother plants are showing any deficiency problems, is it likely there just isn’t any nutrient “stacked” up in the new pot yet? I’m using promix-hp and she’s only had issues since repotting, I’m thinking the roots went crazy and dove deep where there’s no food, and I’ve just been washing nutes out watering until runoff, I need to get it sorted and flip before she outgrows my tent 😬

Wow, I am just a newby, but this looks like a text book scrog, really awesome. If I had my plants look like this I would be in heaven 😍

Well thank you my friend, your plants will look like this easy, this is my second grow since early 2000’s

I honestly think it was from repotting it into such a big pot, once some nutrient got stacked up in the media it took off and never missed a beat, but I was also working with a faulty pH meter and my 6.0 pH was more like 5.0 so it could have been that or a combination of both

Last full strength feeding today, I’ll taper off on the nutes as it ripens up and probably give plain tap water for the last leg of the grow so it gradually flushes a little without starving the plant.
