Hi Farmers - I'm new to the site and growing my first two plants right now. I'm growing in a 2'x4' tent with a Kind x420 LED Light, Vivosun Smart Air Filtration Pro G4 Kit 4"and a Vivosun AeroWave E6 Grow Tent Fan. I am growing two auto-seed plants from Peaceful Grow. All I am doing is maintaining a 6.5 pH level for my water and I also have a C02 bag (I know it probably isn't doing much for the grow, if anything at all) and a small humidifier because without it, the humidity level in the tent is around 20%. I've been told that the humidity level should be around 50% so that's what I'm trying to accomplish with the humidifier. Beyond watering and making sure the water has a ph level of 6.5, I'm not doing anything beyond what the fans, light, C02 bag and humidifier are doing.
I'm looking for some insight here....
Here's what I'm noticing that's relevant to my question:
One plant looks extremely healthy and one plant doesn't look unhealthy unnecessarily, but it certainly doesn't look as healthy as the Escobar. The one I'm trying to get some answers about is the Blue Dream - this is the one that does not look as healthy as the other. The pictures will show you better than I am able to explain.
Here's my set-up:
Growing inside a 2'x4' tent with a Kind x420 LED Light, a Vivosun Smart Air Filtration Pro G4 Kit 4"and a Vivosun AeroWave E6 Grow Tent Fan. I am growing two auto-seed plants from Peaceful Grow, Escobar Dreams (healthy) and Blue Dream (needs something?). All I am doing is maintaining a 6.5 pH level for my water and I also have a C02 bag inside the tent (I know the C02 bag probably isn't doing much for the grow, if anything at all) and a small humidifier because without it, the humidity level in the tent is around 20%. I've been told that the humidity level should be around 50% so that's what I'm trying to accomplish with the humidifier. 1.) Any insight anyone can provide as to what the Blue Dream plant needs that I am not giving it or what I may be giving it that I shouldn't would be greatly appreciated!
2.) I would love to hear from someone that knows a lot about the Kind x420 LED light and how to use it during the different stages of growth. To start I had the light at 40% on both dials. Now I have the full spectrum at 75% and the IR was at 75% until a few days ago I turned it up to 100%. I think the Blue Dream was showing signs of its current state previous to me changing the IR dial to 100%... Basically any knowledge about using this specific light would be appreciated.
3.) Since I'm new to growing I would love to hear any other advice! Specifically in regards to auto-flowers. So far it's been a good experience and I'm (for the most part) very happy with what I'm seeing. I REALLY want to grow some buds that have crystals - just really good stuff if you know what I mean ... Should I use any type of fertilizer or water additive at any point during the grow?
Longest intro ever... THANK YOU FOR READING and especially thank you to those of you that take the time to write anything back.
Cheers!
