Both are listed as 10-12 week, should put me on schedule to do a photo run late winter/spring and have clones from that ready for outdoor 2025 🤞

Hopefully an additional tent is in the cards so I can continue with the vegetables and get a flower tent cycling as well

Tomorrow makes 2 weeks for these ladies. I popped an extra seed thinking of my weak seedling last time and of course they are all thriving. I'm going to try and run two of the Gelat.OG in a single 5gal. More attention to nutrition will certainly be required, but it will be a good test side by side with a single next to it.

This will be my first run using bottom watering pots. I made an earthbox planter diy last summer and had really good results so I'm pretty hopeful. The plants were definitely rootbound in the smaller pots so hopefully they take right off in their forever homes.
Im definitely looking forward to my next run of photos. I want to be able to train and fill in veg and flip when I want to. Autos are fun and fast but I need some more experience keeping things happy from start to finish.

Three weeks in and they are starting to stretch out in their forever homes. I started a little LST on the plants in the middle. The two on the outsides need a little more stretch before I can start. I'm don't think I'll train too much this run, just to even things out and help keep the canopy full.

Today marks a month. They are well into pre-flower and stretching nicely. I think I'm done training i don't want to stress these girls as the buds sites develop

And boom! Off to the races. Everyone is growing, stretching and stepping into flower.

I'm really liking the bottom watering! The only issue I've had so far is that I got busy and didn't check my tent for 3 days. Wouldn't be an issue, but I had turned the lights on right after dark prior. They are definitely stressed from 24/7 light at about 75%. Hopefully they bounce back quickly

Day 50

I can't believe how bad I was at watering 🙃. Watching these plants grow with the soil at a consistent moisture level has shown me a lot. To be fair, I have been paying a lot more attention to it this run as well. Starting to adjust nutrition plant by plant now.

20 days from now would put them at 10 weeks. Both gelat.og and Zkittlez are 10-12 weeks so hopefully they come together and decide to all finish at the same time 🤣🤞

Great job on those autos. I sure hope mine do as well and get big.

Thank you! I like the short and sweet aspects of growing autos but I'm definitely looking forward to my next run of photos.

Day 60.

I did a little bit of under canopy cleanup, looking at the way the flowers are stacking up I'm going to need a net to make sure they are supported.

Smells are starting to push past the carbon filter that was installed during flower on my last run. Definitely need to replace that in the next few days. The way they are progressing into flower it is looking more and more like different harvest times.

Both varieties stated 10-12 weeks, I'm thinking that they will be right in the 11-13 week timeframe.

How's those 2 doing in the same pot? Getting crowded alittle?

Just a quick comment about dialing in for individual plants, that's one nice thing about my running just two genetics side by side under identical conditions. I was able to see how much more an appetite the Ice Cream Cake has than the Durban Poison so for the next generation I can make the adjustments in soil charge that they need. I waited until a week after the flip to amend, and now I know Ice Cream Cake needs it earlier. Previously I didn't pay attention to stuff like that... it takes a lot of the stress out of a grow when you know what to anticipate.

A little bit, but it seems like they both set about the same roots and are growing remarkably the same. I definitely think they would yield more as singles but probably not twice as much.

Between the side by side and the bottom watering I'm learning lots more about the difference between them. Besides the maturity varying, even between the zkittlez the water consumption is drastically different. The zkittlez on the right side have been taking roughly 1.5x the water as the gelat.og since flower took off. The gelat.og started super sticky and has stayed, the Zkittlez just started to tack up a week or so ago but looks like it will be even better. Just checking my plants I've had to start wearing gloves. The flower clusters feel like soft tree sap when you brush against them. Note to self: need another bottle of isopropyl to clean snips up while trimming 😂😁

I was working on the garden last night and spotted this guy hanging out in the corner. I looked and looked, nothing else in the tent or on any of the plants. My guess is he flew over to check it out while I was working in the tent. We have some house plants in the next room that I suspect to be the source. Definitely keeping a closer eye on every inch of the grow to make sure nothing can sneak in.

Thankfully I have not seen any other evidence of pests. Still keeping a close eye on but it appears to be an isolated incident.

Buds are stacking up, the Zkittlez on the right still considerably behind maturity wise. Hopefully she can catch up, but i have my doubts considering how far the other Zkittlez is at the same age

The purple is really starting to take hold. I'm loving the color pushing on this gelat.og

The gelat.og look like they will finish the same.

I don't want to speculate on a chop day yet but they are definitely on the final stretch. I'll have to start checking with the scope day by day soon.

Day 82
20250207 213020

Happy chop day!

I took the gelat.og and one of the zkittlez. The second zkittlez has the tent all to herself now. Hopefully I'll have her down before too much longer.

I setup a drying box, put ducts in and out connecting to my circulation fan in the tent.

Not ideal but anything outdoors isn't possible for a few months. We are forecasted -25f Monday morning 🥶

Gelat.og
It looks like the sisters sharing one grow bag may yield over double the single next to them.

And the single gelat.og

It's a bad picture, the bottom has thick dense buds as well but out of focus.

The zkittlez fattened up a lot more than I expected, hopefully the other plant fills out the same
