Pretty straight forward. The auto pot water was getting a little funky so I cleaned it very well and put new water in it, and then purchased some line cleaner from their website to prevent it from happening again. However it says not to use chlorinated water, but like all tap water is chlorinated and has chloramines. For other people who use these products, what are your methods? Should I just get a big 5 gallon jug of spring water?

Side note: I love the autopot.

Get a couple buckets and fill them with water and let them sit out in the sun all day. The sun's UV breaks down the chlorine. Doesn't work for chloramines though. Safer strategy is get yourself a cheap reverse osthmosis filter.

Do you put anything organic in your reservoirs?

I put nothing in my reservoirs. Also, just thinking about something here, I have an aquarium and I use this. I’m sorta curious if I mix the recommended amount in with the water to remove the chlorine and chloramines along with the line cleaner…I mean my aquarium plants are fine and I use this stuff all of the time.

I don't put anything plant-derived in my reservoirs. Seems like it's asking for stuff to grow in there that I don't want. Maybe I'm being unnecessarily cautious.

Okay so…I asked DeepSeek, and it told me when removing chlorine and chloramine in the water used in autopots for cannabis plants, aquarium water conditioner is a good option, but aloe could increase the development of biofilm, so it is preferred to use water conditioner with ingredients only for removing chlorine/chloramine. It then recommended Seachem Prime, Fritz Guard, or API Tap Water Conditioner to dechlorinate the plant water. 🤯 Crazy what Ai spits back!

Could I use those and hand feed in soil would it make my water a bit better I usually just let it sit for a day and a half in a bucket

Oxygen.......put in an air stone. Let it run for a few days.
The little screen in your sink faucet, that's why it's there, oxygenates the water and helps remove the chlorine.
