I have referred to this site numerous times throughout my first grow and am in a very time sensitive situation. I am growing a manifolded Maui that is in the 8th week of flowering. I made the mistake of adding complete crop with flower fuel twice before this week which isn’t something you need to do with organic soils (learned in hindsight). There’s an overwhelming amount of information online about what or how to do things when it comes to performing a flush but I did mine in one whole day (2/17) instead of over the next couple weeks and got the ppm down to around 400. I am going on vacation this weekend and won’t be back until Monday (2/24) but my gf said she’d be able to check in on it in my absence.
I’m wondering if:
-it will be ok to ride out for the next couple weeks until I see more orange hairs?
-should I give it a little flower fuel bc it has to rely on its reserves to get through end of flowering before I leave on Friday?
-should I harvest on Friday or after I get back?
-should I wait until how it looks over the weekend?
-is flushing absolutely necessary!?? I’ve read soooo many sites saying it is and it isn’t. My basic understanding is that if you use all organic components in your grow then a flush is unnecessary…but I’ve also read that you still need to flush if you do pursue that path
