Your plant looks nice and tight! Training indoors is a way of life! I will enjoy watching someone trying to tame a land, race indoors! Looks like you’ve got The skill to do it! Is the Sudanese from the real seed company also? That’s where my Arcadian and Panjshir and Hunza valley came from! But they don’t Carrie, any South American or Filipino stuff pretty much all Asian and African! That Sudanese looks perfect for growing indoors! Also looks good for growing outdoors east of the Mississippi in the land of the short season!

Thanks for the compliments, although I felt like a bit of a hypocrite asking specifically about Landrace’s then posting an auto flower video, lol!

Yes they’re from TRSC and I have a few of their strains too. I can’t say enough good things about Angus and what he does.

I was thinking the same thing as far as flowering time with the Sudanese. Pretty sure I’m east of the Mississippi, but I’m also pretty far north of it, way up here in Ontario Canada, lol! Definitely have a short growing season compared to California, so long flowering plants are not an option except indoors.
I think I’m actually going to start some seeds tonight, and I will absolutely document if I’m able to have any success with them.
I’m hoping they will do what they’re supposed to and be semi auto. I know it’s not a technically correct term, but if they will flower with less than 18 hours of light I should be able to finish them outdoors 🤞. I’m thinking the same thing about any semi auto but anything beyond 16 week flowering is pushing the outdoor cycle here.

Anything with the 16 hour flowering is pushing it here also! I’m comfortable going well in to November but haven’t pushed them into December yet! Yeah, Angus seems to be a good guy! Gets the job done! I think Sudanese was a good pick! I’m not sure how much rain they get in Sudan, so I might be a little worried about there resistance to fungi! I hope you can get them popped! That seems to be one of the major hurdles with these beans! Only one way to find out! Git er done!😁🐒

Thanks for the positive words, and I never even considered the rain in Sudan, excellent point! 👍
Jade Nectar has mentioned a couple times that none of his landrace strains developed mould or mildew unless they have rains late in flower. That’s kind of our big problem at the end of the season here, we have cold temps but generally good until Halloween, but then we often get rain. Some seasons end halfway into October and other seasons end halfway into November, so Halloween is a good target usually. These will be run indoors first of course though, and I will absolutely document once I figure out how to do crow reports online 🤓
Fingers crossed for high germination rate🤞

* GROW reports!…, although crows can be interesting too!🤣

Don’t know if these things even play without buffering! I’m kind of out on the fringe of service! Will quit clogging up your thread!

I'm here for the crow report.

Something weird happens when I try to play videos here, I find I have to kickstart the video by swiping in about two or three seconds otherwise it doesn’t play on its own. I’m sure that has nothing to do with you whatsoever, more likely the site or something on my end of things.

As far as your video, again the freak show looks incredible, that’s such a disappointment that it didn’t turn out proper. Those purple plants are absolutely covered in trichomes, hopefully they did much better for you. Thanks for the video!

Anyway, it seems like there’s not many growing landraces and making videos anywhere else, so please feel free (everyone) to post any other land race videos you have here, I would absolutely love to see them myself and hopefully it helps getting some more exposure.

Yeah, the freaks were the only disappointment! got my feet, wet, making hash! Well, if you’re going to consider yourself a hash maker, you had better get the weed that the best hash makers in the world use and grow it! Then hash it! Then the circle kind of comes complete! The world of land races, and their ilk can be a magical world that you are entering into! With all of the history, geography, legends, that surround it, it’s a trip back in time!🍻

To anyone who may be interested, I just posted a thread/report for my Sudanese grow, started today. There’s obviously not much happening as the seeds just went in the soil today, so there probably won’t be much happening for a while either 🤓 but keep checking in for updates or feel free to leave your own comments or pics!

I’ve always loved landrace strains.
Following this thread for the sheer enjoyment of them.
Yeah, most people don’t have the guts to run them indoors! Requires getting out of your comfort zone!👍

I’ve grown a few different landrace strains outdoors, but my outdoor season isn’t usually long enough for Sativa, and typically just long enough for hybrids.

I hear you! Last year you pushed them about as far as you could! It can be a real crapshoot! Pot growing is like real estate! Location, location, location!

We had good weather for the last few weeks. That mystery Sativa went to November 3rd. Longest I’ve ever gone.
