Haole Moonshine (Week 6) Hey week4 what are you catching on those yellow sticky traps? I believe I got fucked by something from the uncle Jim’s castings. Mine are small I can’t get a picture of them.

Yup.. Uncle Jims castings... I got springtails.. which are actually good for your soil and fungus gnats. Wiggle Worm was a lot cleaner. The yellow stickies are doing the job catching the fungus gnats.

I don’t have fungus gnats. They are smaller and they don’t develop wings. Red and black, multiplied quickly. Plants got all sick. Floor and soil dwellers. I think it’s some kind of mite. The stragglers after de look like they are eating the de.

I can only think of a couple bugs that meet the black n red, and both are good for the soil and are of the good kind. They eat what's going bad and shit out nutrients your plant can use. Better that they are in the soil than all over the plant itself.

Seems like I got 4 out of 5 seedlings from the Black Widow and Kahuna. So we have 4 of each to work with., The Black Widow will brave the in coming heat (of the coming months) in the garage. The Kahuna, because they're Capts, will get the armchair run inside the air conditioned room. Last run till Sept.. Still have flower from the last few runs 😁

Well the main plants were suddenly dying and the population was multiplying. I put de down , they moved next door and started killing the clones. The ones that I spotted were black. The red ones are dead ones coming out the soil with the run off and look like bloated dead bodies. Whatever they are they don’t seem to be beneficial and the rate they were multiplying was very concerning.

Damn.. talk about bad luck. Sorry to hear about it, and that company seems to be legit. Maybe contact them and ask about it. They might have gotten contaminated with a rare species.. shit I don't know. When shit gets out of hand I use Azamax, It's a little pricier but gets the job done. Concentration of Neem oil.

The de is working I just been vacuuming up and throwing it down again. The clones are more of a pain with it because I eventually have to water them. As long as they officially die i am good.

I'm happy with the 30lb bag of Wiggle Worm. Seems to be working out. Build A Soil has a potent 10g bag for $45. 😐 Not sure I'll ever try it. Maybe some other time... But not right now right now.

As expected the 10g pot is the first to show signs of hunger..and we're halfway into flower. Was wondering when it was gonna ask for food. We topped dressed the 10g pot with BuildAFlower, Mu's compost , and dry amendments, (half the pots recommended dosage). The Calcium in BuildAFlower is a quick release.. so that will take care of the immediate hunger strike. We're not gonna wait for the 20g pots to get hungry and just take care of them tomorrow. A preemptive STRIKE.
